Best one yet!

The gasps I gusped and the screams I scrumpt while reading Madness is an obscene amount! This book was everything I could have wanted and more. There was so much intricate story building and weaving with previous character plots and story lines that had my mind reeling in the best of ways. Shantel has a way of keeping you on your toes at all times! In her LORDS series it’s often necessary to rehash previous scenes from other books or have dialogue repeated, but Shantel ties it all in, in a way that doesn’t make it feel annoyingly repetitive. There’s true purpose behind it all and the way she flawlessly intertwines the same scenes from different POVs is a true testament to her skill in her craft. As always, her characters are incredibly complex but also nuanced. Haiyden was so beautifully flawed, broken and under appreciated. He may be my absolute favorite character that Shantel has written to date. Just his complex emotions and the driving forces behind everything he does was so touching. He’s a ruthless spade brother through and through, but he’s who I picture to be the giant misunderstood and taken for granted teddy bear (if that teddy bear was 6’7”, tatted and carried a knife and a gun). I also really enjoyed the FMC of this book more than the others. She took on a role that women we’ve seen in this world, so far, have not been given the opportunity to have. With that, we get a different look into the LORDS world from her perspective. We get to see a more dominant and strong willed female lead in this story as opposed to the “chosen” ladies of the previous stories. I really appreciated this change and turn in the world and can’t wait to see what happens next!

Haidyn & Charlotte Stole the Show 📚🖤

I absolutely loved this book! Haidyn and Charlotte were easily my favorite characters so far, and their story had me completely hooked. Their relationship was intense, emotional, messy, and addictive in the best way. I loved watching their connection develop and seeing just how deeply they cared about each other despite everything happening around them. Haidyn quickly became one of my favorite characters because there was so much more to him than what you first see. I loved his personality, his loyalty, and the way he loved Charlotte. Charlotte was just as good. She was strong, complicated, and easy to root for, and I loved the way they balanced each other. Their love story felt like one of the strongest in the series for me. It had the darkness and craziness I expected, but it also had so many moments that made me genuinely care about them as a couple. I was invested in both of them individually and together, which made everything hit harder. The plot also kept me interested because there were so many secrets, twists, connections, and reveals involving the Lords and the other characters. I especially enjoyed seeing how everything connected back to characters and situations from the previous books. So far, this is my favorite book and Haidyn and Charlotte are my favorite couple in the series. I loved their characters, I loved their relationship, and I honestly did not want their story to end. Definitely one of my favorite reads from this world. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Haidyn and Charlotte stole my heart ♥️

So this series is always a wild ride and so much fun to read!! It was so nice being back in this world with the Lords and their ladies. Haidyn and Charlotte were not of any disappointment and their story was damn intense. Seeing Haidyn try to fight his feeling for this woman, while also making her his perfect toy was sexy and hot. This man put this woman through so many trials, that I was sure she was gonna walk away any minute but holy dang were they the most spicy and beautiful scenes I’ve read. I hate the life Haidyn had been handed and he deserved to be happy (or as happy as you can be). Seeing Charlotte give herself over to Haidyn even if I’m the beginning it was just because he was blackmailing her was intense, but seeing her enjoy herself with everything he did to her made you realize just how perfect they were for each other. Haidyn became her entire world and seeing it made me smile, laugh, and cry cause it was just freaking beautiful. As always this book was a bit hard to follow with all the plot that was thrown at us, but the way it all came together I cannot wait for more of this insanely beautiful characters!!! This would be a Lords book if there was not pure and utter chaos through it. I love this series and I love this book so much!!! And I love that these books always include all the couples for the previous books in the series. Cannot wait for our next Lords and their Ladies book.

I’m already a HUGE Shantel Tessier fan, I’ll literally one-click anything she writes, but holy cr@p—I could NOT put this book down! Haidyn Jamison Reeves… good lord. 🫠🫠🫠 I wasn’t ready!!! So deliciously DARK. This story had me in an absolute 𝒸𝒽ℴ𝓀ℯ𝒽ℴ𝓁𝒹, and I was living for every second of it. I’ve read this book several times, and somehow it’s turned into a comfort read…so I had to update my review again (yes, my comfort read is dark, filthy, and obsessive—don’t judge 😂). One of my favorite things about the LORDS series is how all the books overlap and feed into each other. Madness ties up so many loose ends from the series while simultaneously cracking open even more doors and wtf moments. It’s unreal how Shantel weaves this universe together—bringing back beloved characters like Ryat, Sin, and Tyson to play massive roles in each installment. 5\5⭐ 5\5🌶 This book left me in a book hangover. When I tell you you will have every emotion in the book you will. I adore both characters and I loved Getting to know the FMC. I was so happy that I was right and I knew who the FMC was. Shantel couldnt of picked 2 better people to be together. There is banter there is tension there are plot twist there are things that you won't even see happening! And boy oh boy Can Hayden Make a girl blush. The amount of kinks in this book that I loved are so good. This was well worth the weight it was well worth the hype And hands down I cannot wait For Adam's book or Kash's book. If you're looking for a book that will make you cry and make you question everything in the world this is for you. All the signs were right there in front of us Every post everything was right in front of us And she outdid herself With this masterpiece. 1,000 time more. I definitely can say that some of my theories were wrong but I did have a good handful including who the FMC was right. Also I wanna say for as long as the book was I gotta say that plot was a very good standpoint but It wasn't too It wasn't too overpowering because it was balanced out with the dynamic between Hayden and the FMC. I will say that the last 7 chapters of this book are packed with so much Insight And Foreshadowing in my opinion and it'll rock your world. I I give her FMC A lot of credit Because I feel She had the world stacked against her No matter how she look Add it and how she took ownership of it But also Hayden Didn't back down from a challenge More than anything. And I was so happy to see A lot of familiar faces😊. But for every question you got answered you think got another question that wasn't answered I feel like And those go for the next books😉.

Madness is dark, intense, and pure L.O.R.D.S. chaos. At over 800 pages it’s a commitment, but once it hooks you, good luck putting it down. Haidyn completely stole the show for me. He’s brutal, protective, and deeply broken, but also surprisingly soft underneath it all. His backstory adds a lot of emotional weight, and watching his past collide with the present was easily the best part of the book. Charlotte had strong moments, and I loved her ambition, but I did wish she leaned into her power a bit more. At times she felt less ruthless than I expected given how dangerous this world is. The interconnected plotlines, secrets, and slow reveals are addictive, even when the book feels long. It’s dark, kinky, and full of trigger heavy content, so this is definitely not where you start the series.
