This blanket is soft and cozy enough for fall nights, however I may need a thicker blanket for the winter. It seems to wash well, however, I wash my comforter every week and it seems the threads on the blanket are starting to come loose, which is disappointing since I’ve only had it about 3 months. In terms of lightness, this blanket meets my standards As far as quality, this is just okay. First thing I noticed right off the bat, is how scratchy the material is. It's not as soft as I had hoped. It's not rough, but it's not smooth and soft feeling. It kind of reminds me of those cheap hotel blankets that they put in between the sheets and comforters? If that makes sense. I do love how lightweight it is though, which is perfect for Los Angeles weather year round. Once you open up the blanket and fluff it out, you can tell how light and breathable it is. It's quite nice and perfect for the approaching summer season so I am looking forward to having a "down" blanket that isn't as heavy. One of the main reasons I purchased this blanket is because it's machine washable. My current comforter is very large and does not fit in my washing machine. I have to take it to a laundromat and use a commercial size machine which starting to become really inconvenient. This product is marketed is "stain resistant' but it came with a stain already???? There are a couple dark spots that look like mold or some kind of blackish/greyish stain inside the blanket. I'm going to wash it before using it tonight and see if it can be removed. I did, however, throw it on my bed first to see the fit. It's perfect lengthwise, but width wise it's on the short side. It doesn't cover the side of my CA King mattress to the edge which is really annoying. Most comforters labeled "King" will cover the entire mattress down to the edge 360. I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning the blanket since it wasn't that expensive and it isn't worth the hassle. ... show more
