Love how this looks in our bedroom with the dark wood furniture. It arrived a bit stiff and shed a bit, but after a good wash, it softened and fluffed up and is no longer shedding. Beautiful and just what my bedroom needed

I can remember seeing chenille bedspreads on my older relatives beds and always wanted one. For the money, this is a beautiful duvet cover. I love the look of it. Yes, it sheds. A LOT. Perhaps it will shed less with each washing. In the meantime, I wake up with fuzz in my hair and each morning, after I make my bed, I have to pick fuzz off my clothes. These things I’ve accepted. The thing I cannot stand is how tiny fuzz balls collect on my sheets. I change my sheets weekly and by the middle of the week I can start to feel ‘pilling’ on the sheet. I buy high end linens because I hate sleeping on cheap sheets that pill. Now I have my duvet dropping fuzz balls on sheets that I have pick off every morning. I have read that applying a spray starch to the chenille may prevent shedding. I will try that the next time I launder it. If that doesn’t help, I’ll be taking this duvet cover off my bed. ... show more

This product is not white. It is cream. Also, the material is not soft at all. The texture reminds me of a drop cloth. I sent it back.

I love the look of this duvet set and so does my husband. It's not too girly and it has character even though it's very neutral. It's plenty big and I made sure to buy an insert close to the same size. The corner ties are brilliant fur keeping everything in place. It's a little coarse and will give of a lot of lint at first but after a few washes it's fine. It washes really well, I don't iron it but did iron the pillow cases because the back was a little wrinkled. I've bought this set twice, once for a guest room and now for the master. I ordered this item three times ! and I finally got one that is ‘centered’ and in great condition. The first two I got the pattern was sewn all crooked and I just couldn’t deal with it. I am very very very happy with this one :) third time was the charm ! (first two were from a different seller.)

I am very happy with my purchase. It washed up very nice & looks great. It goes well with my fur euro pillows & crushed velvet blanket & shams. The fabric is kind of like a raw cotton so not super soft but most people wouldn’t have this directly against their skin anyways, a good set of soft sheets does the trick. I absolutely love, love, love this duvet cover! It is elegant enough for a woman's taste but not to girly for a man's taste. It does shed a little when you first open it, just shake it out real goo and that is it, no more shedding. I've had this duvet cover for a few months now and wanted to wait before reviewing it.
