I'm sure someone could come up with an improved version of this, but for under $5, I'm going to give it 5 Stars! It does not block the other plug in the outlet, so long as you plug this into the bottom plug. I kind of wish the Echo Dot was oriented right side up, so you could see the glowing ring from the front, but most of the time, the whole assembly isn't even visible from where I'm talking to it. Buy this without hesitation, if you're just looking to mount an Echo Dot to an outlet.

I purchased this for my half bath which was newly renovated. My sockets are elevated and I didn't want a cord hanging so I figured I would try this. It's perfect. No cord hanging, my music can be heard and I'm comfortable knowing that this is strong enough to handle a few accidental hits. Its been hanging for a couple of months with no problems.

Was tricky to tuck the wire inside. I had no real instructions. Sometimes it seems it cannot hear me. Not sure if that is the holder or the device. Sometimes it falls out of the wall. It would be nice if there were a way for it to hold to the jack better. Maybe if they gapped the plug a little tighter.

These really clean up the look of the echo dot by hiding the wires. They do still stand out a bit because of the orb shape of the echo, but I guess they’re not much that can be done about that.

I really like this accessory. I placed my Alexa device in the hall using this accessory. It’s very convenient because it’s a very small hall and it’s easily voice accessible from my bedroom or the front rooms (living room/kitchen) without taking up space in the hall. Putting a small table there to house it would have made it difficult to pass through. Perfect combination.
