I bought this for a trip down memory lane and sure have had fun so far. This HDMI game sticks with dual 2.4 GHz wireless controllers offers a plug-and-play retro gaming experience. Ease of Use: Plug-and-play setup. The games are technically loaded on a microSD card, which you can load with other games using a computer. The preloaded games eliminates the need for complex configurations. All the favorites are there. There is a small learning curve to learn the navigational controls (My advice: scroll through the folders and add games to your Favorites list to simplify finding the ones you really want to play) The controllers work great (bring your own rechargeable batteries, AAA x2 per controller). The game stick itself boots quickly and just occupies one of your TV's HDMI inputs, and is microUSB powered - it says 1amp minimum but I'd use 2amp Overall: This game emulator is ideal for casual gamers or those looking for a nostalgic experience without spending much. Really, a lot of nostalgic fun for this old-timer, for minimal cost too. Back in the day, (1980's) a single 8-bit cartridge would cost about the same as what this costs now.

I am writing this after a 2 week trial run, and I am enjoying the system, but there are a couple of things to note. First, the included controllers are not terrible, but the D-pad and joysticks are VERY sensitive. So much so that any driving type games are made difficult to master. Second, around once per day, on average, the system will freeze up. The reset is simple enough, just unplug the USB cable and plug it back in. Not a deal breaker unless you are playing a game such as Resident Evil and lose a couple hours' progress. Speaking of losing (or saving) progress, there is a the ability to save games in the system, as well as putting favorite games into an easily searched folder. Setup takes less than 2 minutes from unboxing to playing, and most of the games load and play with no issues. There are numerous multiples of popular titles, so you don't actually get the full number of games advertised, but you will have more than enough to keep you engrossed for a long time to come.

This little thing is great for the price. I've played other similar systems and this one does everything you'd want it to. Not as customizable as some other setups, but great for plug and play. Has over 20,000 games, but many are Chinese, so keep that in mind. Comes with hdmi adaptor and two bluetooth controllers. They work fine. Not great, but fine. Overall, this is a great deal for retro gaming. Not the best, but a great value for the money.

It is all a built-in package. The unit looks similar to a roku streaming stick or a fire stick. The controllers included have a USB dongle that plugs into the gaming unit. It all connects to TV with HDMI and USB. If TV doesn't have a USB outlet, will need to use a phone charger to give it power. Just plugging it in and turning it on is all you have to do to get to the games. There are TONS of games loaded on the system. Lots of retro games that I got to revisit from my childhood.

We were looking for a easy to use setup to play old school emulators. This was exactly what we were looking for the memory card comes preloaded with a whole bunch of games. The controllers are super light and durable.
