These M-Audio BX3 BT's are high quality, powerful, and clear sounding speakers. They have all the connections you'll ever need, and having high & low shelving EQ's (@ 8k and 150 hz respectively) are a great inclusion at this price point. Tips: if you have something connected to the front Aux port, Bluetooth will not sound. This is understandable, and you simply need to disconnect the Aux plug for Bluetooth to work. Also remember that the more you Boost the Bass or Treble controls, (if you're Mixing on them) the more your mix will be Bass shy, and/or dull sounding on the High frequencies. All in all, these speakers are surprisingly loud and reproduce more bass than their small size would indicate. Highly Recommended, and Rock On, Brothers & Sisters!

I used to have the M-Audio BX5's, and I LOVED them. But I blew one of them, so I needed replacements... and here we are. In short, they're okay... but I admit that I am heavily comparing them to my BX5's. They are NOT as good as those. But again, they are good speakers. I can see why they made the changes they did to make this pair more affordable. What I don't like: - I don't like that it's only 1/4"TRS connectors. I prefer XLR - I don't like that I have to run a dinky 1/8" connector wire from one speaker to the other. - I'm a bassist, and I'm not thrilled with bass response... but I also don't have a huge expectation here either, since they are only 4.5" speakers. What I do like: - I don't need it but it's nice to have the volume dial on the front. - I don't need it but having the headphone jack on the front is also nice. - It was a great price point for this quality of a set of speakers.

This is my second pair of M-Audio Monitors and I wasn't disappointed. Bought the first back in 2011 and they are still reliably cranking. The added BT feature is worth one less cable needed and being able to locate them around the house. Adjustable cutoffs are a nice added feature over my first pair. Run them with games, music, movies, whatever, they deliver, especially for the price. Using these with my laptop and I don't need anything else. Box comes with everything you need. I appreciate that M-Audio keeps improving on these. I will probably pick up the BT5s after using the BT3s now.

The sound quality is so crisp and clear, the Bass has power but it’s not overpowering to the point that it drowns out your sound quality. These 2 speakers are by far the best speakers I have ever heard for a PC and I have already recommended them to everyone I know. These M-AUDIO speakers put out more sound with better clarity than my 5 speaker surround sound system. Don’t trust me, trust the Amazon return policy. If you’re not as impressed as I am (doubtful), just send them back and get your refund. P.S. no I do not get paid to leave reviews and I was not asked by anyone to leave a review. This is my honest opinion and I hope that it helps someone who was unsure what to invest their hard earned money on. -Cheers

The media could not be loaded. When I received my M-Audio BX3 3.5" Studio Monitors last week, I was surprised that I could not turn the volume control down to zero -- there was ALWAYS sound coming out UNLESS the speaker set was turned completely "Off." I did numerous tests, eliminated the possibility of grounding issues, and returned them to Amazon for exchange, thinking there was a manufacturing issue. I received the replacement set today. IT DOES THE SAME THING! Unbelievable that they were designed so you could never turn the volume all the way down to zero. The issue for me is that I use these with my livestreaming setup, and my mic is nearby. I need to be able to run the speakers at a low level so I can still hear sound effects, bumper music, and video interview playback without having any ringing or feedback from my mic. The problem is that the lowest volume level is still too loud. It would be like, if the volume on a normal set of speakers could be adjusted from 100 at the highest to 0 at the lowest, the lowest on the M-Audio speakers would always be a "10" or "15". I really wanted to love these speakers. I've had M-Audio brand speakers before. But I have no choice other than to send this second set back for refund and shop for another brand. Maybe this design problem isn't an issue for you, but in my view, the lowest possible volume level is still too loud for a number of common situations.
