A little goes a long way for build able coverage. Be sure to use a sponge or makeup brush to apply and only dab it.. you can always add more but it's pretty difficult to take off excess. Very pretty and realistic skin shades.

Pros: a little goes a long way, the finish is soft and luxurious (maybe that's bad bc I shouldn't be touching my face!), it lasts reasonably long, good coverage, doesn't settle into skin imperfections. Ftr, I did use a finishing spray bc makeup just melts off my skin!

I'm a professional makeup artist with my own business. I have used every single high end foundation from Armani to Christian Dior. This is by far the best foundation I have ever used. I was in shock when I bought it on a whim. For some reason it just popped up in my feed one day and I'm a sucker for awesome reviews on Amazon and they blew me away so I decided to try it. The finish is incredible. It's smooth and never sits in my wrinkles. I'm 50 yrs old so finding a foundation that covers, doesn't cake, and lasts all day is something I covet. I do use a primer with this, but you don't really need one. Just make sure your face is prepped. (Exfoliate and hydrate). I put it on with my fingers, but then use a damp beauty blender and press the foundation in my skin. It's flawless and beautiful. I get compliments all the time from my clients, friends, and even strangers. My first jar lasted me almost a year because a little goes a long way. Just bought my second jar today. I really love M. Asam. I have the tinted primer, and use it when I just want a no makeup look. I decided to try this as a base under the primer… I’m a little torn. The finish is like a combination of smooth/silky but “oily”. Not shiny oily, but slippery..., even with the primer over it. Since I wear readers a lot, this can be annoying. BUT, it’s a great moisturizer, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and I like the consistency and scent. ... show more

I did love the fact that my eyes did not get irritated. I even used it under my eyes as a concealer and it worked without any bad reaction. No hurting watery eyes. I learned that this product looks and acts better without any moisturizer underneath. It stays on longer and looks better simply alone. I do put my powder blush over it. The result is very nice. The shade is inside the jar is my shade yet when I put it on my face it like 2 shades or more lighter on my face which is kinda weird. I have to really blend it in and then use my regular foundation. It really feels very velvety on my skin and that I like a lot.
