I've never used vinyl wrap before but decided to give it a try to cover the chrome trim above my side windows. I watched a few videos for tips and overall I think this was easy to use, as long as you use a heat gun or blow drier. Its very stiff and brittle when it's cold, but even a tiny amount of heat makes it buttery and mold well. I would say a blow drier on high might work better than a heat gun. I used a heat gun on the lowest setting and I came close to overheating in several times. It does rip and tear easier when it's cold because of the brittleness. Also, getting a kit with extra tools to tuck it between moulding helped a ton. ... show more

Easy to work with. Good adhesive. Bought the carbon fiber look.Prep is important, scrub area with alcohol. Did lower window sills on a Dodge Magnum. Looking better than new. Use blow drier to make soft and the adhesive will bond better after warming. Much better than what I Bought at pepboys.

The tape does not stick as well as anything like 3M tape. This stuff is super cheap and not worth the time to order. You get what you pay for.
