Got this bed for our toddler to convert him to a twin side. What I LOVE is that it sits on the floor so I don't have to worry about him falling out and hurting himself. He can also climb in very easily (we purchased one too tall for our other child and he needed a stool to get in). I also LOVE how cute it is. It's the cutest bed I've ever seen. What I don't love is how low the "beam" is that runs across the front. You have to be careful not to hit your head. I'm concerned before long our toddler will be tall enough to hit his head. We did not put the front fence railing on to make it easier for him to get in and out, instead of the tiny door opening. I am glad we did that because as a parent it makes it much easier to put the child to bed because we aren't climbing over a fence and slithering between that and the overhead bar.     • Sturdy, stylish, and easy to customize.
When I ordered this I knew there was a chance it would be a bit tacky. The previous bed I ordered wasn't very sturdy and was hard to put together, but this fit exactly as I needed it to. The support under the mattress is so strong it can hold me, another adult, and a few kids with no creaking, and the way it's designed gives me full confidence it can withstand some rough housing. It's easy to install and with a small step stool you can have it up within a day. What I liked is that the quality of the material is really nice so if I wanted I could mount some internal curtains into the windows and add a door system to really give my child the feeling of having their own little home to hide away in after a long day. And, for those of you who have A frame houses on the upper level, this would also be a good fit. When I put this up I was worried it might be too tall and the fit would be awkward but it's so perfect the back roof lights up with the ceiling and it fits like a puzzle. ... show more

The instructions aren’t great and there were several pieces of wood that didn’t have the pre drilled holes. We had to make holes. The bed it’s self is cute and exactly as pictured tho.

The bed is super cute and most importantly safe for my daughter. The instructions are MOSTLY clear, but if you pay SUPER CLOSE attention to which piece goes where and what direction it's supposed to face, you're going to have to undo some work to flip parts around. Assembly didn't take too long, but when it came to putting all the pieces together you definitely need two people, one to hold and one to put on the hardware. Adorable bed. Fairly easy to put together with the directions although it seemed a couple directions were backwards. Durable. The bed did have a paint smell for a couple days but that went away. My little ones loves it!

We got this for my daughter's birthday. The shipping took less than what was expected.. Only took 2-3 hours to put together. However many of the pieces had some sort of oil/grease on them and had to be cleaned well. One of the roof pieces were a different color brown than the rest so the roof looks a little off in the back now Don't get me wrong, my kiddo loves it!
