This is a Great guitar and amp for the price! Perfect started guitar for my 11 year old. Customer service is great, too. I ordered a left handed guitar, but they accidentally sent me a right handed one. They returned the right hand guitar and sent a left handed one out immediately.

What an amazing product! Although it’s made for kids older than my 2yr old, but he sure enjoys playing it! I especially like the looks of the guitar... has real strings, and a pretty color and finish. The amp also is great! This was worth the money! I would totally recommend it to parents who are like me who do not like toy guitars with singing n music automatically playing with buttons... I know my son is only two, but he is an advanced 2 year old and will know if it’s not real lol 😂 ... show more

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend to learn how to play guitar! It's a little small for an adult. It's definitely made for a kid or a small person. However, it's a great practice guitar and good for learners.

The guitar works and looks really nice. The amp sound good but is no where near 20watts. 5-10 at most. That’s all he needs. I’m gonna need to do a complete neck job and fret job on this guitar because the Fritz are sharp and the nut needs to be filed because it sits very high. Those are not cons but to a guitars or someone who knows how to work on them this is a good thing because I can set it up for him personally. I am a luthier so I’m very capable of doing this. The whole reason why I didn’t build him a guitar at three-quarter scale is because he would outgrow it so quickly. I’m fairly satisfied with this and for the price it was worth it for what you get. ... show more

    • Would not intonate - major setup required - but fixed it.

I purchased this for my grandson (age 5), and I feel this guitar and amp are a good deal for the price point. And now, for the rest of the story. The action was WAY too high so I could not get this instrument to intonate properly - I had to do the following so that it would properly intonate up the neck. 1) I had to install a 1mm fender style neck shim under the bolt on point of the neck. (purchased the shim at StewMac), as lowering the saddle at the bridge did not give enough control on height. 2) I had to un-screw the bridge and move the entire assembly toward the heel of the body 5/32". 3) Had to file fret ends on the sides of fingerboard ( I expected this as the humidity levels in China are higher than California - fret board wood shank a bit). 4) Built a new bone nut for it and lowered string height at the 1st fret to .020 of an inch down to the low E and to .14 on the high E. Instrument now has a good action height, good neck relief (.004) at the 6th fret and plays in tune and is buzz free. The amp is clean and fairly loud. The single pickup on the instrument is more than adequate. Paint job on the body was perfect. Actually, overall finish on the instrument was quite good. ... show more
