Mine came with some abrasion on the protective plastic wrap that is over the pickups. Someone made a big mess with it and is now hard to remove. I wonder if I got a returned one from someone else. The cosmetics are poor due to all the messed up plastic. I wonder if it melted? But, at least it is made of maple and paulownia. I would not have bought it if it was made of poplar. I just had to adjust the truss rod, adjust the height/action, adjust the intonation, and pickup height. Plays nicely and has a very nice tone when gently strummed, a nice twang when strummed harder. The bridge saddles are the crappy classic telecaster style, which really are not the best for intonation, but I guess it is being true to the roots here. It sometimes goes out of tune when I play, so I have to knock it about a bit to get things to line up right again. Not a perfect guitar, but for this price it is still fun to play with. I can probably straighten this thing out with better bridge saddles. ... show more

    • It's a travel sized guitar.
Size: 30" Right Handed Color: Natural
There are better choices for a beginner. (Actual scale 22 1/2", total length 32") This is best suited as a travel or RV guitar. I swapped out the electronics with an active set to eliminate buzz, then tuners and strings stabilizing the tuning. Sounds good with the upgrades for what it is.
