The mug itself is great. Fits in cup holders nicely. Handle is large enough to fit my hand. The lid seems to be designed to restrict the flow. While this is good for minimizing burns, it's just not something I am a fan of. The lid also has a sliding cover to seal the drink hole. The issue here is that fluid, like soapy water, can easily get trapped in there. So you have to move seal around in different directions in order to wash the fluid out. Kind of a pain. This is the first truly leakproof travel mug I got. I can put it into my bike bag or my back pack and by the time I arrive at work, it is still tight and does not leak. For this to work, there's one thing the producer mentions and that is indeed important: You must not fill it all the way to the rim and it must stand around a couple minutes before you can put on the lid, so that the steam can evaporate.
