We had original headlights on our jeep and they were dim. If I had to compare it to a light source I would say that we were driving our jeep at night with candles in the front that is how bad they were. I purchase this the insulation was extremely easy it was plug and play which is exactly what we wanted and these lights are bright. I was able to adjust them perfectly so they’re not in anybody’s Face directly when we are driving towards them and I just wish I would’ve purchased these sooner because we were struggling for a while with our old headlights. This is a good budget set but is not nearly as bright as other led sets for this price range and cheaper. I've ran another set of 5'7 led headlights that are wicked bright for over a year. Wanted a brighter more pronounced DRl feature and thought these would fit the bill. That feature is great but the brightness of the bulbs don't match my other set, and have a slight warm tinge after being turned on. I'm going to stick with my original set cause they are better for the dark city streets and country roads. For the price these are good, but if you want brighter bulbs do your research and search around. ... show more

Tons better than stock lights on the xj. I can actually see the road at night. The light pattern is okay for what you get. Highybeam is very bright and spot on beam pattern. Easy to install. I would definitely recommend.
