I have nothing but positive things to say about the product and the vendor. I received the order in half of the expected time. Kudos to LVB for fast service! The desk itself was extremely well packed. In fact, I was very impressed by the engineering that went into the packaging. Even though there were penetrations in the outer cardboard shell, the contents of the package were very well protected. Not a scratch! The desk assembled very easily following the enclosed instructions. The quality of the components is first rate, and fasteners and hardware are very good. All holes in the desktop and the legs/frame pieces were perfectly aligned. I was careful not to overnights the fasteners; using the included hex key helps to prevent that. Bottom line, assembly went without a hitch. The result is a substantial, attractive, and very sturdy desk. As others have noted, the desktop is hollow (very much like a hollow core door), but it should support a significant amount of distributed weight. A solid surface would have increased the overall weight to an extent that it would be much more difficult to ship and handle. The advertised ability to handle 500 lbs of weight is more than sufficient for a desk. Any more weight bearing capacity calls for a workbench. This desk is an incredible buy at this price point. I can't guarantee that every one of these desks will be as exceptional as the one I received, but given this example, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. ... show more

As a streamer/gamer this desk is amazing for me. The size is perfect. I have my PC ( because my cats think it is a nice place to lay on) along with 3 monitors (32", & 2 x 24") on separate monitor arms on desk. So there is a lot of weight distributed on it. It is holding it with no issues. Assembly was very easy and to the point, 45 minutes and I was placing my gear on it. The height is perfect for me as well. I am 6' 5" so I need a taller desk and this is it. For the price it was a perfect. -The only CON I have is that the table top itself I believe is hollow, similar to a closet door. So I would not use it as a "utility" table which is not its purpose. Regardless of that the PRO's far exceed the only Con so 5 stars it is ... show more
