Super comfortable and light and well worth the price. Excellent quality that I didn't think I'd find again. And without the dreaded returns of trying something and it not right. It feels like the same one I bought in 2007 at BB&B on Christmas Day for half off and that was $250. So normally a $500 comforter and as a matter of fact I still have it although the feathers are kind of falling out. I'll probably just need to take it to a seamstress and have her resell a few things but I'm still keeping that as I am going to keep this. Incredible feel and very warm for an L2. The design is great. I haven't washed it yet but on order to fluff it I basically put it in the dryer for an hour on delicates with no heat. It did come sealed in a small box but it was absolutely perfect after an hour on fluff with no heat. I will end up buying another one when I get a king size bed. All I need now is a duvet that feels just like this comforter. There was no scent as some people mentioned. It smelled fresh right out of the box.

Followed the directions for airing out and laying flat, then plumping it up and it has been great. Purchased a cover to protect it so not seeing any feathers that other reviews have noted. And no strange smells. Really pleased with the quality, size (bought the oversized king), and comfort. Weight is good and a good temperature (I was concerned that with the weight it may be too warm even with AC). Have recommended to family members and hope they purchase too!

If you are looking for a nice thick, soft comforter, THIS is the one!!! I like that it has box type quilting and each box has just the right amount of down - it fluffs up beautifully and is so comfortable to snuggle with. It's excellent quality and worth the money in my opinion.

I bought a zippered duvet cover which adds a little more weight to it and makes it easy to clean. Not one feather has been released thus far!

Great quality and super comfortable. But beware it is extremely hot! I do not typically sweat at night, but have had this for a year and profusely sweat every night! We are talking soaking pjs and bed sheets every single night and we keep our house at 68°.

Just took my palatial king (120x98) out of the (very nice) packaging. I layed it on my bedroom floor to inspect it and allow it to plump up on its own over the next few hours. Without having used it I can already say that it is great quality, weight and size. It feels so nice to the touch and it’s very adequately stuffed for an all season comforter. I couldn’t be happier. I think there are people out there with unreasonable expectations. This duvet insert is as good quality than some that I’ve had over the years that were over $300.

This comforter is very good quality for a great price. I have another down comforter I've had for 15+ years that I've been reluctant to replace, but it was worth it. There are a few important steps I had to follow once I got it in order to have it fluff up and be ready for the bed: 1) I put it in the dryer right away after receiving it vacuum packed, on air fluff with 3 tennis balls for about 50 mins. It made a big difference to start. If you have a laundromat nearby with a larger dryer + some tennis balls, this might be the only step you need to do. 2) I took the time to pull apart clumps in each section, each square. This maybe took 20-30 mins and I just pulled clumps apart and then shook it more to fluff it. 3) Then I had to leave it to air out for about 5 days. There was a slightly off/fishy smell to it which I was pretty sure just came from feathers being vacuum sealed for so long. I laid it out in a room and had a fan blowing on it, I picked it up by the corners and whipped it a little to fluff it and turned it over once or twice a day. This work saved me probably $200, and I find it to be fluffy and warm with plenty of loft, but not too hot. The airflow is good so I don't sweat with it like I do synthetics. I put it in my linen duvet and it feels luxe. Definitely recommend as long as you're up for a little effort. To me it was VERY worth it.
