I've been searching for awhile for a down comforter for our king size bed. It's a struggle to find good quality at a fair price. After reading reviews and taken note of the weight (10 pounds vs other comforters that say they are 750 fill but weigh pounds less..) I took a chance on this one and I'm so glad I did!! I absolutely love it ( and so does my hard to please hubby) Its actually exactly like the pictures! The fine stiching all around the comforter and the tabs in every corner so you can tie your comforter in a duvet so it stays put. (I'm awaiting my duvet cover but in all honesty I don't even want to cover it...I hope my duvet cover is as nice!) The fabric is super crisp and rustles when you move but I like that. It comes vacuum packed (see pictures) so as you can see parts are a bit wrinkled but it all straightened out after a nights sleep. I was surprised at how quickly it fluffed up, seriously it was like sleeping with a cloud! My only complaint would be wanting a few more inches in the width so it comes down the sides of the bed a bit more....but I can live with it! I was looking for a new down duvet comforter to replace my very loved Eddie Bauer one that I've had for 13+ years. I needed it to be all down or with very minimal feathers and very lightweight but warm enough for all seasons. When I received this one, it was a little flat out of the plastic bag but I knew with down pillows and duvets, you have to shake it a bit and leave it for a few hours to fluff up. I fluffed it up and laid it on my guest bed. After a day, the down fluffed up and when I held it up to the light, I could see how much down filling was in each baffle box. The stitching was beautiful and the Egyptian cotton felt very silky and luxurious. This duvet definitely checked all the boxes! It's lightweight enough that I don't feel weigh down by it and it's warm enough without making me sweat in the middle of the night. I may even like this duvet better than my Eddie Bauer (which I had paid twice the amount for). I'm thinking of getting down pillows from them next. ... show more

I can't recommend this comforter enough! It's exactly what I was looking for. I live in an old building with minimal insulations that I feel every draft and cold weather. I tried electric heater and electric blanket, but they were either too hot and dry or not enough warmth. I thought a quality down comforter would be great to keep the warmth, yet not too hot that you sweat your balls off. I was willing to spend upwards of $500 and looked everywhere for the perfect one. I went to department stores to try on down blankets, but $200~$300 range was flimsy with barely any down and thick and fluffy one was closer to $1,000. Cheaper ones seemed like a waste of money, and it's not cheap by any means. 500~600 fill power just doesn't cut it. and the fill weight matters too. When I saw this one Amazon, I was very skeptical. The spec wise, it was too good to be true. Also, the reviews were too good to be true. How could a comparable down comforter be over $1,000 in stores?!? I ordered one just to see since I always have the option to return it back to Amazon. I was pretty sure I was going to return it before I even tried it. Boy was I wrong. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It's fluffy, it has good weight, and most of all it's WARM. I used to wake up at night because the temperature would drop in the middle of the night, and it was too cold for me. Since I got this blanket, I sleep through the whole night. My sleep tracker shows me 5~6 hours of deep sleep which is double the amount of deep sleep I used to get. If you're looking for a down blanket, definitely get this one. It'll change your life! ... show more

Nice and warm, but it sheds feathers like crazy. I have to sweep the floor in my bedroom every couple of days because of it, and when I take the cover off to wash it, it's like it's snowing in my condo. I'm replacing it with something else. **EDIT** The seller saw my negative feedback (two stars) and reached out to me right away, and is going to amazing lengths to make sure I'm happy. Sending me a replacement which should not have the same issue. Raising to three stars just for customer service. Will raise higher if the new product is not suffering from the same feathers issue! **EDIT 2** Got my new comforter in the mail very quickly, and so far it seems to be exactly what I was hoping the first one would be. Normally I'd leave it at 4 stars for the hassle, but Sam from the Egyptian Cotton Factory has been taking such good care of me, and has been so eager to make it right, that I feel really good about the purchase. I really loved this comforter for the first 6 months or so. However it slowly but surely began to leak little feathers. Now I've had it for over a year and my pajamas get covered in down.
