    • Can’t disable child safe door lock out feature
I purchased this microwave about a month ago and it’s okay as far as what a microwave should do, except for one thing. It has a child door lock feature that prevents the door from being opened for 30 seconds after it’s done. Nothing is mentioned in the manual on how to disable this. It talks about the child lock feature for the controls, but nothing on how to make it so the door opens when it’s done without pressing the cancel button or waiting 30 seconds. Love this microwave except it takes awhile for water to boil. The design is perfect, no touchscreen!!!!!! You got to love good ole knobs, dials and buttons. We give it 6 out 5 stars for the user interface and we will keep it. However if you are looking for a faster-to-heat-up-the food-microwave I suggest going for a different brand that has higher wattage. ... show more

But second one was shipped the day I received the damaged one! (Even before I had returned it!) I like the clean lines and after actually reading the instructions (what a concept) was able to get used to the controls as they are very different than regular meecrowavays.
