Have had this run now for several weeks and I just noticed that in some places the pile is not there. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be that way or not. The rug is still stunning and great conversation piece. The places that I’m talking about are about 2” in a few places, barely even noticeable.

Read many reviews and looked at as many photos as I could find.... upon arrival though the colors were just not what we were expecting (to me it looked like cowhide) and we returned. The various pile heights people mentioned do seem a bit odd as they were very sporadic and hard to tell if intentional or not, guessing they are but the rug we got only had a couple of them. Seems of nice quality though, good softness for price, especially with a pad down, just not the rug for us. ... show more
