I'll start by saying that I'm a real, unpaid person who never thought I'd be writing a review for something as mundane as a $20 shower curtain...but here I am, and I'm just loving this thing! Hopefully this review will help your decision, or at least a mildly entertaining discourse on shower curtains, of all things. I can't explain the wizardry of the how & why this curtain makes my bathroom look SO DIFFERENT. Others that I use in this bathroom are also light colored and don't have busy/multicolored patterns. The actual bathroom is so much brighter & airy with this shower curtain, but the crazy thing is that it appears a LOT BIGGER. It's like some Harry Potter magic stuff transpired. WTH?! Absolutely bizarre, but in the best way! The backstory of my epic (ha!) shower curtain quest is this: Ordering this was a gamble due to the room's sunny yellow wall paint and white trim. As anyone who's dealt with this can painfully attest, trying to match up yellows can be a real challenge which often ends in a truly hideous disaster. Add the fact that it's impossible to tell the color accuracy between digital photos and the thing that arrives at your door (been there, done that, and yay for free returns). I'm happy to report that the yellow is perfect and exactly what I wanted. The yellow is a true sunny/lemon shade without any mustardy or orangey tones. And the white is a beautiful, clean, true bright white. For the price, the quality is great and the fabric is a nice lightweight cotton. Side note: Maybe (probably) I'm weird, but I can't stand the look or feel of the polyester/nylon/plastic fabric used in so many shower curtains. They always smell weird, and give me an awful, budget motel vibe. I don't understand their existence when we have shower curtain LINERS that cost, like, $10 tops? I digress again... It's made well, hangs really nicely, and is sized correctly. Instead of grommets for the hooks, I prefer the button hole- style this curtain has. All were sewn well and lined up perfectly with the liner. Same for the bottom and side hems. I should probably get on with my life and wrap up this review (yes, I'm avoiding other, real (boring!) tasks like vacuuming and buying dog food). Again, I hope this has been an enlightening and informative read about something that I normally wouldn't give a hoot about. P.S. Just buy it, seriously. ... show more

I liked the look of this shower curtain and took a chance and bought it. When it came, my husband gave me a 'look'. He did not seem impressed. He complained that he wanted a more silver look and did not want so much white. It made me concerned and I almost sent it back. I had purchased a silver gray rug for the bathroom and was concerned that the choice of color that looked silver gray on the monitor was a kind of tan, light light tan. Our walls in the bathroom are a gray-tan color and I had put up a set of 3 minimalist medallion canvases' that look silver in some light but a tan-sh color in others. My husband went to bed and I decided to hang the shower curtain. After I hung it and stepped back, I was in love. It was perfect. It matched our canvases and the walls. I could not believe it. I did not say anything to my husband, I wanted to wait for his reaction. He got up before me the next morning, and I came out to my husband drinking coffee, and told me he loved the look of the bathroom. He tried to take credit by saying, I told you it would look fine. This is pretty good for the price. Not very thick and definitely needs a liner, but I knew that. The color was a little different from what I was expecting but still close. I feel like I got what I paid for.
