This is the blush ticking stripe on a Victorian half-tester bed. Arrived very wrinkled, which light dryer tumble and pressing has begun to address. The ticking stripes are printed rather than woven into the fabric, so expect this. Very soft and lightweight, floaty fabric. Batting inside the top layer of the bedspread, so this likely wouldn't be up to a heavy duty wash/spin cycle. I'm going to handle this gently, -- as others have mentioned, it doesn't seem likely to be super durable. For the price, well worth it, if you don't mind maintaining with a little TLC. A pretty, versatile spread to coordinate with quilts or, as here, an eiderdown. Good for layering. I liked it well enough that I ordered another in neutral/natural. Note: I liked this so well I attempted to order a second one in neutral/natural, but I was sent a charcoal gray instead. I have now seen other reviews where this was a problem (including one reviewer who tried three times and repeatedly got the wrong color). So ... caution when ordering "neutral." This bedspread is so pretty! It’s lightweight and lays perfectly on my king bed. I do have a memory foam mattress, so no box spring. The way it flows to the floor may be impacted if you have the mattress/box spring setup;however, I believe it would still work well.

Overall, I think this comfortable to use and is pretty close to the overall look I was going for with my bedding. I will say, it isn't as nice of quality as it appears in the picture. I somewhat wish I had been able to get an actual linen or linen blend comforter in the same style, but that was not in my budget. I do worry about the batting getting bunched up in the comforter, but it is still not too bad after 2 or 3 washes. I did have an issue with it coming apart at the seam where the brand and wash tags are attached, so I still need to sew that back up. The greatest positive I have to say about it is how comfortable it is. It is very soft and the weight of it is great, it does not leave me burning up at night. While I do think there are some flaws, I still think it was worth purchasing, mostly due to how comfortable it is. ... show more

I LOVE IT! Softness and comfortability: It is soft & easily washable! I love that it's lightweight since I am a hot sleeper. Look: It is gorgeous! It fits perfectly on the bed. The shams are a perfect addition. I'm obsessed with it because I'm not a fan of the look of a bed skirt, but need to hide the stuff under the bed. It hits perfectly at the right height so too much isn't on the floor, but it's not short either. It's perfect so I vote you buy it :) ... show more

I purchased this over eight months ago and purposely held off writing a review. The instructions say it should be dry cleaned; however, based on other reviews I purchased it regardless. So, let me say, I own a German Sheppard dog who loves to sleep on the bed. Needless to say, this bedspread gets washed & dried weekly! I haven't had any issues at all.
