It is difficult to open because of the position of the release. The magnet is strong and holds well, however, taking the helmet off would be easier with a design tweak of the clip. I feel very safe with my son wearing this helmet for his e-bike. I ordered a large for my 14 year old - and it adjusts to fit perfectly. Easy to adjust. I did measure his head. I love that you can use the visor as an indicator of the helmet is placed properly. I love the features that make him visible to drivers, although he doesn’t ride at night. A bit expensive but I have never purchased anything more than a bike helmet so I have no comparisons. I looked at many helmets but ultimately decided on this because of the reviews and features. I did but the MIPS version which was more expensive because his bike does go up to 28mph and you can’t put a price on safety. ... show more

Comfortable and light. Eye shield is clear and easy to see through, but when it rains, I couldn't see past the droplets so I had to remove it. Light options are bright and flashy, easy to turn off and on, easy to adjust fit to head.

Pairing was simple. The helmet is bright and the turn signal works well. I haven't run the battery down, so I can't comment on battery life. It is well constructed- nice fit and finish, I did have to cinch the headband all the way to get a snug fit, so if you have an average sized head, I would get a medium if you have that option. Lastly, it is a heavy- duty helmet and the weight is fairly heavy. I expected that with the battery and crash rating, so it wasn't a shocker. I am satisfied with my purchase. Looks sleek and very comfortable. Love the adjustable knob on the back to help make a snug fit on your head. Lights are bright and noticeable at night. I am thankful that it did what it was meant to do and that the damages were minimal compared to my knees.
