  • Good value trail light
Great value! Bright light. Compact size makes for an excellent helmet light for mtn bike trail riding. Good quality with fair+/good battery life.

  • Great little bike light
Wanted a light for riding in early mornings/late evenings on my Cannondale Topstone. I use my PD Out Front bike mount and read that this light was used in the PD ad, so figured it would work. After buying and returning the full size version for being too large, this Micro 900 is just right. Fits my PD bike mount and when used with a GoPro style adapter (sold separately) it's just right. Fits fully in front of my stock stem, and the light is plenty bright for almost fully dark rides. I'm a gravel rider with 60/40 tarmac and hard pack for reference. The only downside is the need for the GoPro adapter and most are plastic which I'm not in favor of. I did find the K-Edge metal one, which I'm very happy with. Battery life is key here since you'll need to uninstall the light from the mount in my case to charge it, but a small price to pay for ensuring the light is securely mounted and won't break off a plastic/ABS mount. ... show more

  • My favorite flashlight!
I have several that I have been using for years. Great lights. Not only are they excellent for use on bikes and helmets, I have found nothing better to use as a small pocket flashlight. Always works. Always bright. Long lasting. A quality product.

  • The most versatile model in the Niterider lineup
This model is the perfect balance of size/weight, brightness, run time, and price amongst the rest of Niterider's offerings. It has more lumen output in the low and medium settings than it's bigger 1100 and 1200 Boost brothers, which are the settings where I spend most of my time, AND is rated to last considerably longer in those respective settings. I have an 1100 Boost as well, and this 900 micro performs just as well in L/M/H settings, but is lighter weight and makes a better helmet-mounted unit. I've actually bought a couple of these 900's as I've see them on super sale. The downside is they are notorious for the charging port failing, which one of mine did. Fortunately Niterider customer service was great and fixed me up quickly. There are certainly better lights on the market now, but for the price and the sake of standardizing on mounts, I'll continue to exclusively run and buy Lumina series (I'm waiting for a 1200 Boost that was on a crazy sale to deliver as I type this, ha). ... show more

  • Best Cycling Lights You Can Get
Excellent lights - super lightweight! I've owned other cycling lights but they were a waste of money. Don't scrimp. Get NiteRider lights and you won't be replacing them anytime soon.

  • Bright Daytime Flashing Light
These lights have a very bright daytime flashing mode. My neighbors report they can see them from a long distance away. I bought one for on my handlebars and a second one I use as a taillight. I bought this set for my new bike. I have had another set of these lights on my other bike for three years and they are still going strong even though I've been caught in several rainstorms. I have not used them as a headlights but I can tell they would be awesome especially on the brightest level. They are easy to take on and off too. My only complaint is I have to charge them after each ride which is about 2.5 hours or they will run out of energy sometime during the next ride. This is a significantly less amount of time than what is listed in the manual. I would buy them again and have recommended them others. ... show more

  • Long lasting, bright, solid build.
I have 6 nightrider headlights. I prefer the 900 one because it last longer at the same brightness level compared to other models. I also like the color temperature, more cool(white/clear) than warm (yellow). I’ve accidentally dropped it a couple times and no issues. My only complaint is the attachment to the handlebar could be better. I have both styles of attachments, I prefer the one with the screw. But I usually have to adjust them once or twice during a fierce ride, not a big deal, but wish it didn’t move as much as it does. ... show more

  • Failed mount lock results in lost light
I bought and used this light on dozens of rides. I really liked it but recently on a ride it fell out of the mount onto the ground. I picked it up and attempted to inserted it into the slide mount several times but it would not lock in place. I should have taken the time to put the light away and into my pack but became distracted when the group rolled away, and instead I it in the mount unlocked. When I got back to the staging area the light was gone. Over $50 to replace it. I'm angry especially knowing I could/should have stowed the light away when I discovered the mount had failed. ... show more
