This product is awesome!! Wish I could find some wheels for outdoors for it. Or replacement wheels incase i take the individual out for a walk or with time the wheels get wasted. Thats the only thing i wish. The seat is cushioned, and the handles, everything is sturdy.

    • Chair is impossible to maneuver. Not smooth at all!!

Was not very comfortable. Assembly was easy on some parts but to get the legs to lift was very difficult. Chair does not operate smoothly. I bought it for my grandmother and it is near impossible to get her legs raised without shaking and moving a lot! The wheels are not 360 turn!!! The back wheels are front wheels are not. If your buying to maneuver a disable elder around the house in comfort DO NOT BUY!!!! You can not move the chair around easily so this is a complete waste of money! And when I say you can’t move the chair I actually mean you can not move the chair!!!!!! I bought this and did not use once for the disabled grandmother who I take care of full time. I am just trying to get her out of bed well this did not work! DO NOT BUY!!!!! ... show more

Pro: • easy to assemble, although the front wheels were a bit of a hassle because the frame they went into was not perfectly square. Had to straighten the hard metal and took some work. • The tray and it’s self storage. Con: • front wheels don’t turn so hard to maneuver the chair - they should be in casters like the back wheels; • the recliner mechanisms hard and required someone else to use full body power to move between positions; • your lower back starts to hurt after sitting over 30min because of the hard seat (despite the fact that we have a cushion for it). Which means that you have to constantly be positioning the seat to alleviate the discomfort. • Tray can only be used in the 1st position. ... show more

Great chair, my patient spends 3hr stays in the chair with zero problems. Works flawlessly with our patient transfer lift. The height of the legs allows for easy access. Mobility is a touch challenging with only the rear wheels having turning capability. Would be nice to have four wheel maneuverability. Took it on a hurricane evacuation so the patient would be comfortable. Fit inside our mobility van just fine. I would purchase this product again. ... show more

This is great. It's a chair that doesn't make the person that is sitting in it feel like a wheelchair. I wish i bought it Sooner. When reclining it's as if it is a tilt in space chair, which relieves the back.

My son has been in bed for over a year after a Severe TBI. I've wanted to buy a Geri chair for a while now but reading the reviews here on Amazon, I decided against paying out of pocket for one. Well, I was sick of seeing him lie in bed so I ordered this one. I couldn't be happier. And he seems super stoked and perfectly content in his chair. It was packaged nicely, had an instruction booklet, the packing wasn't bent or busted up, nicely secured in the packing, the build of the chair is nice and sturdy and the caster wheels make moving it around a breeze.
