I gave it four stars because it’s not super sturdy on the bottom but by no means is it flimsy. The fuzzy spaces for the cat to sit on are not soft, just fuzzy.     • Cheap Materials But Excellent Customer Service

The box itself is OK, although the backboard is very flimsy. The top section is very cheaply made. Very thin piece of material over areas the cats sit or play on. It won’t take long at all for them to tear through it. The screws also go through the tops so they have to sit/lay on them. If we hadn’t already assembled it before we noticed, I would send it back. Amended. Customer service responded immediately to my review and offered a refund. This is virtually unheard of these days. Many issues with this item, poor quality, missing parts, holes not lined up properly. Currently working with their customer service to try to resolve these issues. I'll update the review if there is an acceptable resolution. Edit/update: the sellers have good customer service and offered an acceptable resolution. Update 2: The very simple solution to the top-tier was to get a thicker post. Found a cheap one elsewhere on Amazon, I believe it is 3.25 or 3.5 inches in diameter. It has completely resolved the wobbly top-tier! Again, I cannot say enough about the customer service from this company! They have been extremely kind, very responsive, and I really couldn’t ask for more! Update: giving these guys five stars for their customer service! After a few messages back-and-forth, they have issued me a refund and have been very kind and understanding about my frustration. I do believe that they are trying to improve their product, so I’m sure the next customer who orders this cute litter box and cat tower will be super happy! Storage space underneath is great, not currently using for a litter box, probably will someday. My cat’s new favorite perch next to her window. This product takes two people to put together, the sides keep falling every time you try to put the bottom on, I had to put boxes all around the darn thing to support the sides so I could get it together. Then, to find out one of the holes on the bottom section is drilled too large for the screw that they provide to secure the bottom to the sides. Now I have pieces of wood and cat tower all over my living room floor and awaiting a response from this company that failed to do quality assurance before sending me a faulty product. hopefully they’ll respond and I’ll be able to give an update and a better review. ... show more

Look, this was very affordable, and uhhhh you could really tell during the assembly process. It's just not as finely or consistently made as more expensive furniture, it's not even to IKEA standards. We had to go buy replacement metal attachment pieces when the ones in the set broke immediately, just insanely brittle and cheap. So it was a bit of a hassle to put together overall, and this thing isn't sturdy, so we won't be dragging it around at all, but I don't think even really rambunctious cat-zoomies will break it, so. But it looks nice where we put it, near a window, and the cat loves it, and it functions well (doors open easily when unlatched, and stay closed when latched) so it's a win overall. So would I buy it again?... Well I wouldn't want to assemble it by myself, I'm fine with IKEA product assemblies and Lego sets, but this was aggravating and I definitely appreciated another person's help finessing it as we assembled it. But it was a good price and arrived quickly and hides a large-sized litter box out of the way and makes my cat happy, so would I buy it again, definitely maybe 😅 ... show more

I was looking for a hidden litter box for my apartment for a long time. I needed something big enough to fit a litter box for my two cats, but not too big and bulky for my small apartment and this is just right. I like that it hides my litter box.
