These completely transformed my beer drinking experience. I used to think Keystone Light was for college kids. But dump one of those puppies into this glass and see what all the hype is about--i felt like I was walking through a Midwestern wheat field at dusk with an Amarillo sunset lighting the way. Not really, but it does feel nice in your hand when you're drinking a stout. It's very transparent glass with an excellent harmonic tone when you clink them. Also--the warranty is amazing. One of these came with a small chip in the rim. I contacted Luigi Bormioli and they sent me a brand new one, sand all I had to do was send photos of the chip. Great customer service. ... show more

I'm an occasional beer drinker. I don't consider myself a beer snob or some hipster craft beer crusader, but rather a guy who likes to relax and enjoy a cold one (or two or three) of my favorite beverages after a hard day or nights work. With that being said, I just received my order, and wasted no time pouring myself a glass of my preferred drink (Left Hand Brewery Nitro Stout). The difference is almost night and day compared to drinking from your standard pub glass. It seems richer, fuller, and even a bit more...dare I say, savory. I would have never believed such a thing as simple as the glass you drink out of could make such a difference, this includes the aroma as well as the taste, but it indeed does. I've come across some reviews in which there were complaints of the glass being too thin around the rim. While it is thinner than what I've usually enjoyed my drinks from, it doesn't seem to be anything that defects or takes away from the glass overall. I think the quality is actually very good. Just be careful, and you'll be enjoying your favorite drink from these for many moons to come. So if you are looking to enhance your stout drinking experience as well as the quality of your beverage, I would most definitely recommend trying these bad boys out. I love these glasses. They are so clean, and so comfortable to drink from. I keep them in the freezer at all times after they’re washed and they are always ready for a cold hard pour of stout beer. They frost up beautifully and keep your drink cold. The base is nice and thick and I never worry about setting down the glass on the table. Made very well, no flaws whatsoever on the crystal. These glasses are expensive, yes. But they are well worth it if you're a beer connoisseur who is trying to get the most flavor and scent out of expensive stouts. They certainly enhance the flavor and smell of the beers poured into them. My only gripe about these glasses is that because they are so tall, they are difficult to clean by hand, so I usually have to run them through the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend these as a gift to that beer drinker in your family/friend group who enjoys stouts. ... show more

Nice clear crystal. they are quite thin toward the mouth of the glass, but they do sing nicely when you run a wet finger over the rim. The one thing I did notice is that these glasses are advertised as having a laser etched circle on the bottom of the inside of the glass, and mine do not have this feature. This product is absolutely stunning! The construction of the crystal glass is elegant, yet rugged. It is clear to look through with no fog. They apparently come with a 25 year warranty protecting it from chipping on the rim of the glass and fog from washing, read the booklet inside for further. Luigi Bormioli is etched on the bottom so you can’t forget what brand they are.
