They wear out fast. I can get few months out of them. I buy them for work only when the price was 42 dollars. I just stand for 8 to 9 hours. No lifting or doing anything ruff. The leather seems to break down and stretch in the front above toes. I also wear them when the weather is bad on muddy day. I use water repellent. Good to spray on outdoors. Bought the black scuff-proof pair. Not only is it not anti-scuff, it scuffs more easily. Happy overall with the boots, but do NOT buy the scuff-proof if it's important to you.
