    • Good little carryon, especially if you need something small

This little bag really surprised me. I was traveling on an African airline with very tight carry on limits, and this was almost the only bag I could find that was small enough and that had wheels. But you know what? It really was a great carryon for my trip. It rolled beautifully, and was small enough/light enough to carry up and down stairs, and it was narrow enough to roll down the airplane aisles. The handle did not feel wobbly at all. And having only two wheels maximized the interior space. The zippers on the main compartments are lockable. Really my only complaint is that there are too many compartments. I wish it had only one big main compartment, and a couple of smaller ones on the front. I was about to fit: my camera body, two lenses (not huge), spare batteries, cleaning kit and charger, two changes of clothes, a minimal toiletry kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb), a few snacks and medications. I paired it with a small backpack as my personal item to carry headphones, papers, and mini CPAP. The case did have a tendency to tip over if I put my backpack over the handle on top of it, but the handle was solid enough to use it that way as long as I gave it something to lean against, or while pulling the combination. ... show more

Pros: * Small size fits easily under front seat of air plane (including Frontier) * Padded water proof material, well put together * Wheels roll easily and make traveling with your personal item much better than having to carry it * Telescopic handle goes to full length and back again quickly and smoothly * Lots of pockets for thin or small objects * Separate compartment for laptop * Gold and black color looks very stylish Cons * Small and tight compartments/pockets can easily be overstuffed making your personal item exceed the maximum airline measurements (not a problem if nobody is really checking at the gate, problem if they are) * Telescopic handle takes up space on the inside of the main compartment, leaving less room for what you want to pack (see pic). I think you may be able to make up for that if you remove the laptop compartment but if you need that compartment too, then space is limited. * Telescopic handle does not adjust easily to different sizes for different heights (ex: child or shorter person) I could only get it to stay put at maximum length (always) and one more right below it (sometimes yes, sometimes no). I love this little guy so much. I almost got the slightly bigger one by the same brand, but I'm glad I went with this one because of all of the front pockets. The other one only had two pockets on the front. It easily fits my laptop, plus two monitor extenders. The laptop part zips out, so it works great for a weekend getaway as well. I used it to fly to Maine, then took out the zipper compartment, and used it for a two day trip to Boston. Since it's small, it takes up less space in the overhead, and rolls very nicely. Love love love this small carryon! For 30 years I've been carrying a carpet bag with few pockets. It was a jumbled mess and often became heavy. This made my recent flight so much easier! I love the many pockets and compartments. Now I have a place for everything and can find it easily. I used the front top pocket for my ID and flight information. In the compartment for laptops and devices I kept my iPad, makeup items in slender containers, and a few snacks. I kept my Kindle reader in the lower outside pocket. I also put my vitamins and supplements in one of the outside pockets. Very convenient. The main interior is definitely very small. I would not be able to use this for an overnight stay or a weekend. But that is not why I bought this bag. I have a larger carryon for my clothing, so this bag was for all the little things I wanted organized and handy to find. Also accessible during the flight. The main compartment held my curling iron and a few toiletries and I kept it almost empty on purpose because during the flight I put my purse inside. With my purse inside it, I had my hands free when I walked around the airport. It has a strap that attaches this little bag to the top of my larger carryon. What a Godsend! My shoulder thanks me! I flew Southwest Airlines and I had a middle seat and it easily fit under the seat. I also made sure I took a good look and it would fit under an aisle or window seat as well. In my almost empty main compartment I brought an empty water bottle. After TSA, I filled it up and it fit nicely in the drink side-pocket. I struggled at first with extending the handle and retracting it back inside, but once I finally figured it out, it worked just fine. I had no problems with the wheels and no problems with it standing by itself or tipping over. This bag is very well made and I hope it lasts me a long time because it keeps me organized and I love it. When I came home, I decided I wanted a matching larger size carryon for my clothes, but was disappointed that they didn't have a mate for it, so I will have to buy that elsewhere. I purchased the 16" which works fine for my needs, but I do wish that I had purchased the larger one which is 17". This delightful little bag on wheels makes me very happy! TLDR: I like this bag a lot, but it did not fit under seat in the space available toward the rear on a Delta 757–B200 even though per the stated measurements it should per pics of space. ————— I bought this specifically to fit under Delta seats. I am currently sitting on a B757–200. Good thing I’m in the middle seat because it would NOT fit under the aisle seat, I just tried it. Bag is not overstuffed! It’s just a little bit too wide across with the rigid frame to even start to slide in. I’m very disappointed that the bag will not fit this common underseat space - in fact it might not fit under the window seat either because there is a big electric plug block on that side, reducing vertical space. I stowed it overhead so I can’t check that right now. So I won’t be able to use this bag if I’ve got an aisle seat toward the rear, plus a carry-on. This one time I checked my carryon since it was free, so I was able to stow the Luggex bag above. If I had them both, I might’ve been forced to gate check one as this was a full flight. **Check your airplane type and published underseat data before you fly if you plan to use this bag.** Pictures in order are aisle, middle, window, in row 32, B757-200(HD). According to the specs in the photo attached, underseat space toward the rear is reduced from these numbers, and also on the window due to curvature. Economy underseat: 16" (width) × 14" (depth) × 11" (height) Bag dimensions are stated as 15..7”x13”x7.7” so it should have fit but couldn’t be pushed under even a little. Baffling. On my return flight, I was on a Delta Airbus 321, slightly smaller published space. I stowed it overhead. Published space wider but overall smaller: 17.5" × 13.5" × 9 " Features: This is my first trip with the bag, so I can’t speak to durability, but I like the well designed organization & pockets. Zippers are OK. Generous padding in laptop compartment for such a small bag; stowed a 7 inch Kindle and an iPad Pro. It wheeled easily through the airport. It also stacked nicely using the handle strap, before I checked my larger bag. The handle didn’t jiggle too much, compared to many bags I tried in person. It was fairly stable. The bag held all my cosmetics in 3 and liquids in 3 ziplock bags, a 14 day flat pill organizer, a pair of flat slides plus a pair of strappy heels, a compressed sweatshirt, an iPad Pro and Kindle, and lots of travel items in the many outer pockets. I bought standard water bottles in the airport and while you can roll the bag w/one in the side pocket, they lean out a bit and could topple out so I put it cap down. I used the uninsulated side pocket for Sunglasses in a case. - note that I removed items from the side pockets before trying to slide the bag under the seat. ... show more

Used it for the first time flying today. I packed it full and it still fit under the seat. Love all of the pockets, makes it easier to keep things organized in a smaller bag. I like when the handle retracts as the zipper compartment closes over it. The wheels handle great and the stability is good, the material is durable, the blue color appearance keeps it looking clean.
