I took a chance and bought these on sale. I wasn't sure about the material at first, it's almost like a soft, oiled, matte finish. After wearing them for a few months, I can state that these were an excellent choice for me. I tend to get alot of scuffs and they buff right out on this material. No break in period either. I did use the DM conditioner and another DM product for weather proofing before wearing them. I am very happy with the results and they still look new. I think these will last a long time with continued care. I wear a women's 10 and that is what size I purchased. They are a little big but I don't think they would have fit to my liking if I sized down to 9. I vary wearing thin and thick socks. ... show more

Where you would rest your head is flat and one side end (curved end) is much higher than the other end. Based on the many positive reviews I was very disappointed and returning to Amazon.

I usually wear size 9.5, so I bought a size 10 and it was too big. Wonderful boots, waterproof, stylish, and just all around a good buy. Nice for a casual date or just to take a walk in cooler weather. They're very grippy. They're so comfy, I feel comfortable kicking someone if I needed to, but thank goodness I haven't had to. BUT if I ever did have to, I hope I'm wearing these boots ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are great quality shoes. I got mens size 9 which is my regular size. Very comfortable while walking. Give extra strength to your ankle. Looks great with yellow stitches. Got extra pair or laces. I got brown and black for this model. Proud of my choice.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS. I assume they aren’t made up to the strict standards the pair of Docs I had decades ago, but what is these days? They are are comfortable as I remember and they are holding up well so far. They fit just as I expected them to, and I really really love the color.
