We recently took a trip and my husband and I along with our daughter were able to keep all of our stuff in these bags! They are expandable so on our way back we definitely utilized that as we had purchased gifts and extra things and needed a bit more room. The handy carry/carry on fit perfectly in the overhead bin on the plan as well. The zippers and wheels are smooth and don’t get stuck or jammed. The price of a suitcase can rise quickly, especially if you're looking at high-end brands. On the other hand, this is the perfect option if you're only on the hunt for inexpensive, functional bags that won't sacrifice style. The media could not be loaded. The bags arrived right on time just before our trip. It was the perfect shade of blue that I really wanted. It looks classy and expensive :) It is spacious with dividers and straps. Super lightweight, durable and most importantly it glides so smoothly!! Just an fyi, that luggage in the vid is about 45lbs. It got a few nicks after the trip which is expected but it did survived 4 airplane rides (I have 2 connecting flights!). I am looking forward to use this many more times and I plan to get one more set so my husband can match me. Cheers! ... show more

I was concerned that the added weight of a hardside suitcase would exceed the maximum limit, so I ended up packing two suitcases instead of just the one I would have normally packed. They each hit about 30 pounds, so I was partialy correct. During a layover, my luggage ended up sitting outside in the rain for almost two hours, clearly unexpectedly. I was dismayed to find ALL of the items in the smaller of the suitcases completely soaked (which broke my heart because my new Stephen King book was in that one). These bags are NOT waterproof, so be cautious with what is packed in them. I don't fault the suitcase, I fault the weather and the airline for letting them sit outside for so long. I have a trip to Ireland planned for later this year, but my luggage is OLD. That's why I decided I needed to upgrade it a bit with this set of three suitcases. This set includes three different sizes (20-, 24-, and 28-inches) of otherwise identical hardsided suitcases. Each case, even the smallest, has four double-sided spinner casters and a telescoping handle. They all have strong and durable double zippers and an expansion compartment, as well as TSA-approved combination locks for extra security and convenience. Inside, there's a zippered flap to keep one half of the clamshell design separated from the rest...perhaps intended to hold your dirty clothes throughout your trip. The other side is open, but has a strong adjustable nylon strap to hold folded clothes securely and keep them from wrinkling. Every detail here seems to represent better quality than you might expect at this price point. At the current price of around $170, this luggage set is a very good value. I have only two small complaints about these bags. First, the largest of them had some damage or paint or something on its bottom. I noticed it as soon as I took it out of the box. I'm not too bothered by it, to be honest, but I hate paying so much for items that are damaged or otherwise marred. I was also surprised when I opened these bags and found that none had any smaller pouches inside for wet things or accessories. There IS a flat, zippered mesh pocket on the separating flap in each bag, but it wouldn't be good for wet clothes or small but sometimes bulky items like chargers. It's not a big deal, really, but again, it is something I generally expect in luggage, and I was slightly disappointed they weren't here. Still, these cases are attractive and durable, and they have all the other features I need. They roll so smoothly and silently, too! Great luggage set with built-in TSA approved locks. All three pieces stack together nicely and they roll well on both hardwood and carpet floors! The lining, zippers and shell all seem to be of good, durable quality. I did find a bit of damage to the bottom of the largest suitcase I got, but it’s only cosmetic.
