I got this based on the solid review someone else posted. Plugged it in today and works perfectly. I got this back up battery 3 yrs ago to keep my computer going during wild fire prevention power black outs, now I am headed off to a remote island half way across the world with unreliable power and internet so this is the perfect solution to powering my SMART phone and Satellite Connectivity. It performs really well for the price point. About 43watts in sunlight just laying on the ground. The 8mm cable is a really nice addition to be able to power a variety of things or to connect to the solar charge controller they offer.

I got this for charging my small battery banks, my phone, AND my insulin pump. I couldn't try it on the battery banks, because I had just charged them. I found, I don't know how or why, as I am not schooled enough in electricity to measure this. HOWEVER; I don't think the USB-C port is very powerful. In the house I have a 25w USB-C charger, that delivers what my phone calls "super fast" charging. Using the same cable, my phone indicates only "fast" charging, and was taking a very long time. The battery in my phone is 4500mAh, which is quite large. The battery in my pump is a LOT smaller, and it charged just as fast as it does in the house. I would've thought the C port would have a lot more power. That being said, in my first experience with a solar panel, I would have to say that it DOES work, although with mixed results. ... show more
