I wish I would have got these years ago. I've never owned a new car. All of mine have been 10 years or older making all the electrical connectors a pain in the butt to disconnect. I have broken more tabs than I'd like to admit or cut my fingers trying to disconnect a stubborn connector. The quality is about what you'd expect for cheap cast tools. The casting is rough and the machining or grinding is as well. But for about $5 per tool the value for money is pretty good. These are easy to use, obviously since they are just pliers. They have great utility as I have used couple for other purposes with great success. The grip coatings are more comfortable than bare cast metal but that's pretty much all I can say about them

If you’ve ever tried dealing with clips, or those annoying little electrical connectors by hand, you know how much of a pain it can be. These tools make it way easier—just the right shapes and sizes for getting into tight spots and popping things loose without breaking stuff. They feel solid in the hand, not cheap or flimsy, and the grips are comfortable enough that you don’t end up with sore fingers after a couple uses. Having the different styles in the 4-pack is nice too, since you never know which one you’re going to need until you’re in the middle of a job. Overall, this is one of those tool sets you don’t realize you need until you have it. Makes automotive work smoother, cuts down on swearing, and keeps you from snapping fragile connectors. Worth it.

I received the 4 pack of electrical disconnect pliers. It comes with 3 pliers and a specialized prybar, 2 pliers are spring loaded. The product seems to work well on a test plug I tried it on and they open and close smoothly. I really like the designs because I've come across some plugs that were almost impossible to disconnect and I've broken a few tabs. The quality seems good. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do. I feel like this product is a good value.

This 4-piece disconnect tool set will make working with connectors easier. Some electrical connectors are stubborn and hard to disconnect with regular pliers or picks. The spring-loaded pliers all open back up for me and I like the rubber grip. For the negatives, the pliers did come covered in what I feel like was an excessive amount of oil. Also, there are multiple mentions of a “durable bag” in the item description but there is no bag included. Saying you are going to include something and don’t is deceptive. I thought maybe it was a mistake but all the other reviews I see do not include a bag either.

We've all poked and prodded at automotive plugs that hard to get at easily, that are stiff and difficult to unlock, and that generally frustrate us. This handy set of 3 different design plug pliers can often get you quickly to having that connector removed with far less stress than otherwise. You aren't going to get them into every tight and horrible position that the manufactures force is into, but this will get you into a big percent of the areas required, and reduce your time and your stress.
