My use is not diesel, but in an outside heating oil tank. Unfortunately, they now sell the same ULS diesel fuel as home heating oil, even though it's not required where I live. dyed red of course. Very low lubricity. This Lucas product is the only Lucas product I use. It definitely helps with the gelling in an outdoor oil tank. It has its limits but seems to work with proper dosing down to about 15F. I have used a couple of other products in years past and they worked a well. I always add 10 or 15 gal. of kerosene to the no.2 oil, but that has hung at an insane $6 a gal. for some time. ... show more
