Opened the box and tried to spin by hand. The rotor is stuck, won't turn. Got it to move a little, it is scraping inside then gets stuck again. You can see why there is 17% zero stars!! Junk !!!

My Camry which has 270k miles on it had the battery light come on. I found this on Amazon and it had a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and packaged well. I installed it with no issues and no more battery light. I now get 13.9V at the battery which is within specs. I should mention my battery is 6 years old. That voltage could be higher if I had a newer battery. This is also very quiet. My old alternator was making a slight whining noise. Only time will tell if it lasts. ... show more

Installed with a new belt (recommended) on a 2012 Camry 2.5. Been running great for a month and no issues yet. This is not the Lucas Oil brand everyone is familiar with. It’s English and used as a known brand replacement over there.

This alternator was bought for my sister's car and it was the right match the only reason I gave it 4 stars is cuz im the one that had to install it witch I didn't have a problem with i had the old one out and the new one in in about an hour and a half that how easy it was unlike my cars alternator witch to awhile due to getting the right one and the placement of where my alternator is located i just realy didn't want to be the one to install hers but I would have her get this one again if she ever needs another ... show more
