Description

The LS2 Rapid II full face motorcycle helmet is an evolutionary update of our best selling Rapid. Rapid II uses three shells for an even better fit and all- day comfort. The shell is now made from our exclusive Kinetic Polymer Alloy, and material that blends microscopic levels of aramid fibers into a high-end polymer, allowing for amazing energy management. The Rapid II meets the stringent ECE 22.06 safety standard and includes LS2 proprietary Advanced Rotational Energy Management (AREM) system to better handle rotational forces. The adjustable, quick change, toolless shield is made from optically correct Class A polycarbonate. The comfort padding is removable so you can keep it as fresh as new. The helmet fastens using LS2’s popular DOT approved quick- release buckle system. Meets or exceeds DOT standards. Intermediate oval fit. DOT approved. Meets the FMVSS 218 Standard.

This helmet is very comfortable, for this price range the value for money is great and made with very good quality. As first helmet is perfect, functionality is great, I like that you can open the visor from the center, the visor has a very good scratch resistant. It is not fog resistant. Noise level is ok, not the quietest but I used it for rides over 2 hours long and it was fine and it feels very light. At this price range this is the best helmet you can find ... show more

Cheap but good. I’ve been riding for years and will never spend insane money on a helmet. This is cheap, ECE rated, looks good, and has features more expensive helmets don’t. Wind noise is ok but not amazing. Not bad in the summer and I wear some scarves in colder weather.

I've always worn skid lids or open face helmets. I haven't worn a full face since I started riding 20 years ago. I started riding with a new group of guys a month ago. On our first long ride together, I was not comfortable with my half helmet and goggles. We did a good bit of highway riding that day. We planned to go on another long ride two weeks ago. I don't know why, but something pushed me to look for a full face. I searched, read reviews, tried on, etc. I settled on the LS2 because of reviews, the price, and the graphics. It came to me Friday before my long ride. I tried it on when it came in. The fit was great, the field of vision was excellent, and it was so lightweight. On Sunday we rode. As the fates would have it, I didn't make it home on my bike. I went down at about 35-40mph. I summersault, I felt the helmet hit 3 times. Needless to say, I had some broken bones, but I didn't have a head injury or a concussion. The helmet lasted me one ride, but it was the best money I ever spent. ... show more

great helmet. Havent found any issues or weaknesses so far. Light weight, aerodynamic, quiet. Everything works well, chin curtain does not come loose (unlike some other helmets I tried). I first compared it with another LS2 helmet (Ninja), but that was like day and night. This Rapid II is fantastic!
