Because my son is very lightweight and wasn’t able to make a good dent into the chair. The amount of foam that I took out is in the white bag next to the beanbag chair in the picture. Awful stuffing. My potty training toddler had an accident on this so I emptied it to wash the cover. MOUNDS of random foam scraps in all shapes and sizes stuck to my clothes and made a mess of my basement. It was an awful mess- I cannot believe I paid this kind of money for such crappy stuffing. 10/10 do not recommend.

I’ve purchased several types of beanbags over the years but these are the best. I bought three of them before Christmas for my grandchildren. The covers are nice enough to look stylish in my den. I keep two stacked up and they actually make a very comfortable chair height place for an adult to sit. We have also used them as footstools in front of our club chairs. We also love to put the in front of the fireplace for a cozy spot to read. The filling makes them very stable. They are lightweight and easy to move from room to room. They are perfect.
