Purchased this to mount on a jetski. Unit is in great shape and transducer is correct. Upon setting up the unit I tried to find charts in my own fishing area but could not get any detail zooming in. From the product description, the C-Map US/Canada inland and coastal charts should be on this device, but only the inland lakes are loaded. Switched charting to navionics, which is preloaded on this unit, and gained a bit better detail. I did purchase this item used, and it was discounted enough for me to take the risk. It seems like the previous owner bought it, removed the sd card, and returned it, bummer. The issue is, cmap contour is no longer available commercially, Cmap discover is at 125.00 and Cmap reveal is as well at 250.00. (no wonder the previous owner decided to be a scum bag) Prices are nuts, but that's what you get when you "give this item a second chance at life".

I really like this unit, it is basic. Having the charts (maps are for land, charts are for water) and gps on a split screen with sonar are great. BEWARE though, this unit DOES NOT support sidescan (tripleshot transducer), the sonar menu give you the option but the head unit hardware does NOT support it. I wanted sidescan also, but after understanding the various sonars (sidescan, downscan, high chirp etc) I would go with the 7" next time. 3 stars because it wasn't clear that sidescan was not supported.

This product has a bad mount for the transducer it cracked and broke off which caused me to lose my transducer and Lowrance customer service is terrible not even a response from them. I don’t recommend buying anything Lowrance

So far it is a good little unit. The only problem I have it the ice pack itself isn’t very sturdy. Walking around checking holes the little tackle boxes kept falling out. And the unit itself doesn’t secure right to the back it’s loose in the mounting. Other then that the electonics it’s self are great.

The transducer was bad out of the box, couldn’t even find the bottom of the lake. After emailing the company MANY times (including them having me drive to the lake, drill a hole, then take a picture of the screen) they agreed to send me parts. Now Three weeks into the process they still haven’t shipped the parts. I email them regularly for updates and they thank me for being patient…. But don’t send the parts. Garbage product, even worse customer service.

Doesn’t work. Spent $450 for this unit for an ice fishing trip. Spent money traveling to a remote fishing spot, only to be aggravated with a worthless unit.
