The media could not be loaded. I am planning to take this as a personal item on a four day trip next month but I did use it recently for an overnight. (Read on for the “except” in the title. Your opinion might be different!) There’s enough storage for both my laptop and iPad, although I don’t plan to take the laptop on my trip and only took the iPad for the overnight. The storage pockets seem well organized and the interior is light colored and striped for visibility. It feels well put together. I appreciate the strap that goes over your wheeled luggage handle, too—but haven’t used it yet. The backpack straps are padded. It comes with a drawstring bag to protect the backpack between trips (and that’s not the open-top bag it was in inside the shipping container). I didn’t try the USB port because that’s not something I will be using (I don’t think). Now for the one thing I was surprised and taken aback by-but it shouldn’t really affect its usability. In fact it may be a plus for some! I ordered the “Army Green” because, though a female, I often wear camo items and I thought it would blend in nicely. Well, the zippers and zipper pulls are shiny gold! Not dull gold or brass, but gaudy shiny yellow-gold! The video I shared does not do justice to the bling, but you get the idea. I can’t tell if the zippers are plastic or metal—they slide really well and if plastic they are good quality. Time will tell. And I doubt I will misplace this backpack with these glitzy zippers even though the material is an unassuming green! ... show more

My 4th grader loves this backpack. It is very stylish and has plenty of room for books, headphones, iPad, folders, jacket, etc. One cup holder on either side. USB hookup for charging your devices. I would like it better if it was a bit wider. Standard folders barely fit, but it’s manageable. I don’t think this bag would work for older grades with many books as it is narrow. I got this backpack as a gift for traveling. I haven't taken it on an airplane yet, just in the car. It holds a good deal of things--for me, it holds my laptop, all of my device chargers, all of my toiletry items, a book, hair dryer, and curling iron. Lots of little pockets inside and out. Water bottle fits in the side, as does a phone with a slit in the pocket for charging ease.
