The thickly padded honeycomb straps help cushion your shoulders on long walks, and they adjust to help balance the load for better weight distribution. I like how the padded shoulder straps keep you feeling supported and comfortable even when carrying this backpack for long hours. I love the cooler mesh fabric on the back. A great feature that provides better airflow against your back to prevent overheating while walking. This backpack is very spacious, with a 42 L large capacity inside. The main compartment opens 180° flat, for easy access to items, allowing for quick screening checks at the airport. Inside are straps that buckle together for compressing clothing items, keeping them neatly in place. I love how it has four compartments for keeping clothing, shoes, tech, and accessories organized. The backpack dimensions are 18 x 13 x 8, allowing it to slide overhead into airline bins or underneath the seat. The separate EVA foam padded compartment in the back provides impact-resistant protection for a 17-inch laptop. Another nice bonus is the inclusion of two packing cubes plus a shoe bag, making it even easier to maximize space. Nice how shoes can be packed in their own bag away from your clean outfits. The shoe bag is generously sized, large enough to even fit a pair of men’s size 13 dress shoes. LOVEVOOK 42L Travel Backpack with 3 Packing Cubes, TSA Approved Carry On, Size 42L-4PCS, Color Green & White: This is a well-designed backpack with packing cubes. The colors are accurately depicted in the listing photos. The green is a mint green, and the white is more of a cream. The size of the backpack is perfect! The material is lightweight so there is no added bulk. It opens like a suitcase, so you have more control of how to pack. There are multiple pockets, all with smooth zippers. There is even a wet/dry separation pocket. There are several open interior pockets for quick access and organization. It has padded shoulder straps and a chest strap to help distribute the weight. There is sufficient back padding too. You can carry this like a backpack, with the top or side handle and/or on top of a suitcase thanks to the luggage strap. There are side cup holders and straps to secure oversized water bottles in place. Included with this backpack is a mesh packing cube, a shoe bag, and a TSA-compliant waterproof toiletry bag. This set has everything you need for a weekend getaway. I’m very happy! I’m loving the color, size, quality and overall look. The only thing that would make this better is to add double zippers to the smaller pockets for easier accessibility. Although the price seems a little high, this is a quality and durable backpack that should last for many trips to come. Would recommend. I hope this helps!

My spouse and I were skeptical that a "personal item" bag could actually hold as much as a small suitcase without falling apart at the seams. I expected the straps to fray or the laptop sleeve to be thin, but the first few days of our trip proved me wrong. It actually maintains a very **trustworthy** structure even when empty, and the build quality of the stitching is impressive enough that I wasn't worried about the weight of my heavy tech gear and shoes all in one place. In our busy household, we appreciate gear that makes traveling with the family less chaotic, and the dedicated shoe compartment is a massive help for keeping dirty sneakers away from clean outfits. The build quality feels very solid, and you can tell the padding on the back panel is high-quality because it provides great airflow, so I didn't end up with a sweaty back after a long trek through the airport. You can hear a crisp "click" from the chest strap, which gives you a bit of certainty that the weight is distributed properly for a long walk. Underneath the main flap, the organization pockets are well-placed for passports and boarding passes, although I’d suggest labeling your packing cubes so you don't have to hunt through all three for a fresh pair of socks. Because it opens like a suitcase, you have the freedom to see everything at once rather than digging through a dark "hole" like a traditional backpack.
