So far, I haven’t taken it under water (and likely won’t… er, not intentionally anyways!) but if you’re like me (eh, “accident prone” as my husband calls it) then you’ll appreciate this case. It’s very much like the life proof cases!! Except! With the life proof cases, after some time people can’t hear me anymore! This case so far has not had that issue nor does it give that annoying echoing while on the phone. I’ve also dropped this thing mmm 9-10 times from a flight of stairs, in my toilet (mm I guess that IS under water, ha!), from my pocket, off the seat in our truck, in the sand, and countless other places. Not a scratch on the CASE!! And my phone is safe! NOTE: UNLIKE LIFEPROOF, THIS COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANTY/GUARANTEE THE CASE! So FYI in case anyone is wondering. The case comes with: Directions & helpful do’s and don’ts booklet Opener for easy case opening Cloth to clean phone and case + a wristlet that ties to the bottom left corner (when viewing the screen) which is handy in case you do drop it! (Note: left side tie only. No right side! But it’s long enough to use on your right hand comfortably (you could also clip the wristlet to a lanyard or necklace, etc., or possibly replace the wristlet with one of those accessories.) Overall, love it! And the mint is as pictured. Super cute and very durable. Oh! And the charge port plug is a heavy plug (I hate those snappety-clip covers that I can’t open without breaking a nail!) And The silence tab is controlled by a wheel on the case. Clicks when on and clicks when off so you know you sat the silent mode on or off. Nifty! Works easily enough! And lastly (I know, and and and!!) the volume buttons and off button, are all raised for easy detection and depression. (Another thing I hate! Not knowing which is volume up and down… Ugh.) but nothing a prob with this Case! I very rarely write reviews even though I rely on them heavily when I buy anything at all! But I really am excited about this purchase and wanted to share my feedback. Oh! Sorry, one last thing! The camera and screen are all raised and thick. No chance of breaking! Plus!! YOU CAN EVEN INSTALL A GLASS SHATTER PROTECTOR ON YOUR PHONE FIRST & THEN APPLY THE CASE AND IT IS STILL JUST AS DURABLE!! I never took my screen protector off and it’s been working like a charm !! Fits great u can drop it any way and feel confident it wont break I cut out the front glass because i have a screen protector on also because it has a gap on the edges which revents quicker touch also i dont need it for water protection just to protect the phone entirely from cracking. Phone case is fine, but it's not the best waterproof case I've had. I've had many that were better than this one. Cannot use speaker setting on phone calls b/c very muffled and noise disturbances. This is very inconvenient for working from home and using cell as main work phone. Also, the little rubber piece that blocks the charging port is removable and it has fallen off many times now. It sticks in really great, which makes it waterproof, but when you need to pull that piece out to charge your phone, it comes off very easily. I found it the first 5 or 6 times it fell out in my car or house, but now have lost it and have to buy a new case b/c it's no longer waterproof without this piece. ... show more

I bought this case with our purchase of an above ground swimming pool, followed the directions with testing the case with a piece of paper in it, and it remained dry. Months now with this case I can still dunk it fully under water without a problem! I use this case as a backup when I'm near the pool. UPDATED REVEW: Got a chance to test taking pics under water. The good news is that it takes pretty clear pictures - see the thumbs-up pic. The bad news is that the screen button will not respond to touch. So in order to get an underwater pic, you gotta have a side button set up for it OR use a delay. Not a huge issue, though. Just something to be aware of. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I tested this case in a sink and (accidentally) a hot tub when I dropped it in the water. Kept my phone dry! It's pretty easy to get your phone in the case. Just take your time with cleaning all of the surfaces and snapping it together. The touchscreen response is acceptable. I would say it's about 90% of normal, maybe better. I have not tried taking any pictures with the phone submerged yet. I will update the review once I do. ... show more

This case was meant to be an alternative to a more expensive waterproof durable brand. It took a lot of falls and successfully protected my phone. One day at work I lifted my phone off the desk and the camera protector just fell off. I used gorilla glue to put it back. My hot pink case became stained black within a month.Not sure how, just accumulated. I’m considering more expensive cases so I’m not wasting plastic every 3ish months to get another when the cheap case gives out. ... show more
