Daughter used Ghosts for 5 plus years. We broke them in properly and used them properly and they still broke like crazy. Convinced her to try Louisville and she's been hitting better than ever! Her first over the fence homeruns! Not saying this bat is the best fit for everyone. I know lots of people who have success with Ghosts but seems like this is the perfect bat for my kid :) Definitely worth trying. ... show more

Took my daughter a couple of weeks to get completely comfortable with the bat. Used to swing an Easton Ghost Unlimited as her primary. She is a 16U catcher and OF. The Kryo is now her favorite, but it could be because she opted for a heavier bat vs the Ghost. . Good pop and large sweet spot. Slugging percentage went way up this past HS season. ... show more

Bought this at the end of last year and the bat is working nicely for my 13-year-old in competitive travel softball. More of a SMACK contact than a CRACK contact (like with Easton). My one complaint, which I heard is typical of Louisville bats, is that the grip on it wore out alarmingly fast. Took it to our local Dick's Sporting Goods and they were able to remove the old grip and put a new one on for us. When paying over $400 for a bat that is notorious for grip falling off, you'd think it would come with extra grip. In all her years playing softball, this has been the only bat we have had to replace the grip on. ... show more
