So far it's a very nice bat, with great power and that ghost sound. My 14 yr really likes it. My only concern will be durability since we live in a colder climate. Also it seems the bat cap and the end of the barrel is not perfectly centered you can run a fingernail on one side and feel it, the you can't on the exact opposite side. Not sure if it will hold up. So far she has about 600 swings through it at home off a tee, and some summer workouts at school. Will update later if anything changes ... show more

The 2026 Easton Ghost OG definitely lives up to the reputation of the Ghost line. One of the first things I noticed was how well balanced it feels through the swing. The weight distribution makes it easy to generate good bat speed without the bat ever feeling heavy, which helps build confidence whether you're making quick adjustments at the plate or driving through the ball. The double-barrel construction provides a responsive feel with a large, forgiving sweet spot. Contact feels solid, even on slightly off-center hits, and the feedback is excellent. The bat has the signature Ghost sound that many fastpitch players look for, and it inspires confidence every time it's swung. The grip is comfortable, and the overall fit and finish are exactly what you'd expect from a premium bat. It's well made and feels durable while still offering the performance you'd expect from a top-tier composite model. Like most composite bats, allowing for a proper break-in period will help it perform at its best. Overall, this is an outstanding fastpitch bat. It has a great balance of power and control, swings easily, and offers excellent performance right out of the wrapper. The Easton quality you'd expect, with a nice balanced weight distribution, great pop and a large sweet spot makes this a great performing hitter. Hitting on the tip is less painful than 1-piece bats. Can't comment on the. durability so far, but I have heard of people breaking these 2-piece bats, not sure how they managed that without mistreating them. Full price this is pretty expensive, but if you can get many seasons out of it then it'll be worth it. ... show more

This is one of the best softball bats I have swung. The bat has very nice balance. Big bats tend to be end heavy but this one just doesn’t have this issue. I don’t need to choke up on this bat to get full control of my swing. I am able to smoke the ball with this bat. It performs great. The grip feels really nice on my hands without gloves. My daughter is able to use this bat effectively and she’s in jr high. I think this bat is very suitable for softball and even baseball. The look of this bat is my favorite thing about it. It just has a sharp look. Its also probably the biggest down side as it will get dirty so requires some cleaning to keep it looking great. Outside of the keeping the looks this bat is very durable. This is a very expensive bat but you get what you pay for. If you are deeply into softball then this is a solid investment. ... show more
