The media could not be loaded. The first 3 days I was not very happy. first of all my order was late, but hell its December and Package delivery these months are on high demand. Then I couldn't get it to work right. After trouble shooting it ended up being on my end. My welder was not enough to run this thing. But let me tell you, I bought the 55 amp CNC cutter and this thing is powerful. Just look at the images. Those cuts were on 3/4" steel and I was not taking my time. I could not believe the ease it cuts with. Pilot arc works great. The 2T and 4T is excellent for different applications. If your on the fence about buying this item, I can tell you with certainty, it is powerful. Remember I am talking about the LotosLTP5500D CNC enable, I dont know about the others. some of the others run like $318 and $418. This one is like $527. I though for the little bit extra you get a way better machine in my opinion.

This unit exceeded my expectations in every respect. I had a 35amp Hypertherm before this and am enjoying this unit even more. I ordered some smaller tip sizes and when cutting metal up to about 1/4 I am getting or exceeding the curf width the Hypertherm had, and it was superb! I have not cut steel that is one inch yet, but the key to this little gem is to watch your air pressure based on thickness of metal being cut and the clean up is mininal. Some of the comments are atypical anti-China etc. You are not paying Hypertherm prices, so do not expect a Hypertherm. Thats what I did, and what I got suprisingly is Hypertherm performance. Support- I emailed the person in California making a suggestion. When I purchased the unit none of the pictures showed the plug that comes with it. So I was ill prepared for the twist lock. 2 days later I received the correct cord in the mail and they said they would change the pictures so everyone could see the twist lock and thanked me for the input. I have operated this unit at Full Power by hand and it rivals a much more expensive Plasma unit. I have .6 .8 and 1.0 tips for it that I purchased for thinner work. When parting with $500 don't expect a $2300 Plasma machine and when you get it, plan to be surprised how good it is!

I purchased this because I am building a plasma table so I needed the features it offered and I thought it was rated for 50amp which should cut 1/2" steal but its wired with 10g wire, a 30a plug and that should have been a clue right off. When I got it I noticed the self arc would not work and sometimes it would. Well it got worse so I returned it. Guess what, the 2nd one did the same thing only this one could not cut through 1/4" plate when it did work and would blow back on the head which burnt the guide. I am returning it, getting my money back, and going to buy a name brand not a hunk of garb. Complete waste of time but I saw a lot of good reviews so I gave it a shot. I wish people would use the equipment a few weeks before reviewing the items. I would also add that on the first plasma I got I did decide to call tech support just to see if they knew what they were talking about and I was not surprised. The lady could not speak English and she had the, DID YOU TURN ON MACHINE, DID YOU CONNECT THE GROUND CLAMP book in front of her but I did give it a try. Its been 7 days since THEY have received the returned failed unit and I still have no credit!!

Lotos 5000dcnc is probably the best value for a CNC rated non high frequency 50 amp plasma cutter on the market currently. And it even runs on 120v too. Buy it you won't be dissappinted
