  • Great SIMPLE ABY Switch
Color: ABY Pedal
I picked this up because I wanted to run my JOYO Jackman-II and JOYO Zombie-II in stereo. It works great for MY purposes. The AB works exactly as you'd expect switching between both amps, the Y works great running both in tandem. But the way you switch between AB and Y requires you to move a slider. In other words you can't just go from alternating between amps to running both at the same time unless you physically go down to the pedal and adjust the slider. It would also have been a potentially useful feature if activating the pedal while in Y mode would cut all of the signal. But I'm also probably asking A LOT for something that's literally a $20 pedal. It works great, it's not like it doesn't do exactly what was expected and any extra features I wanted I could've got if I'd gone with other brands. I wanted cheap and functional and that's exactly what I got. Hence the 5*. ... show more

  • A ringer for sure
Color: Classic Chorus
I got tired of packing and unpacking rack mounts and half stacks while I was on the road playing music. I went on a quest to find inexpensive, portable gear that sounded decent so I could jam while on the road or work on new material. The Kmise Chorus was another one of those rare gems. When I went out to buy a bunch of pedals, I started low priced and worked my way up. Heavy duty build easy to read and the sound is good old classic chorus. Absolutely beautiful sound. Even more so when you consider how inexpensive it was. In true Amazon fashion it got here quick and I have zero complaints about this pedal. I'd recommend it to anyone. Thanks Kmise Rob Ronin ... show more

  • Bang for your Buck
Color: Digital Delay
This is the first pedal I have ever owened so I don’t have anything to compare it to but from what I see, it’s a great choice. This is one of the cheaper pedals out there but it still works fine. Because it’s a digital delay the repeats are very clear as opposed to a analog delay which has slightly softer repeats for more subtlety. The digital is an ideal option for dotted eighth delays popularized by bands such as Pink Floyd and U2. But back to the pedal. The dials are plastic and they don’t label the amounts of repeats or the milliseconds between repeats so it does take some experimentation. After I found the sound I was looking for a used a permanent marker to put a dot where the settings were. The picture above shows the settings for a dotted eighth delay at 130 BPM. Hope you have a great time on this pedal! ... show more

  • A must for any pedal set up!
Color: Noise Gate
Great bit of kit, needed it for a gig, was getting a lot of noise from my pedals, fitted this to my set up, even low it drastically cut out the buzz and hum, yes as you crank it higher you've got to pick a little harder but that's fine and isn't always either, it's a balancing act just spend time getting it right on the setting, it turned out I didn't even need it as we just used a DI box. It was going to get 4 stars because as you crank it higher you have to pick harder, but that's normal for a noise gate and for the price and value and quality of the pedal. It's metal casing and came with sticky pads too, it totally eliminated my hum and buzz when set to about 40-50% and didn't effect my actual sound at all. Whilst I didn't end up needing it for the concert I use it at home in my setup and for my Amp and it's on hand for when there's no DI to use! Life saver and so cheap! ... show more

  • Good once setup properly.
Color: Tremolo Pedal
When I got this I was initially kind of disappointed. I was looking for that deep pulsation like on crimson and clover. What I got was more of a stutter without the ebb and flow of that vintage tremolo sound. So I put it on the shelf and didn't think much of it until I was reworking my pedal board. When I came back to the product page here on Amazon I saw some info in the other reviews that wasn't here before. I figured I had nothing to lose so I disassembled the pedal and found 2 tiny trim pots on the board. As I turned each screw while strumming open strings on my guitar I found that sweet spot where the effect is most pronounced. One pot set the effect level and the other seems to be kind of like the squelch control on a cb radio. Turn it top far and there's noise. Turn it down too much and it seems to effect dynamics somewhat. If this was set properly from the factory this would be a 6 out of five star product. Since it seems to be a total crap shoot it's a solid 3. ... show more

  • Classic Marshall vibe and more!
Color: Hot Plexi
I bought the Hot Plexi simply because it wasn't expensive and I was looking to experiment with a few budget pedals. I'm really glad I did! On it's own, with a boost, or blended with a t.c. electronic Dark Matter it's a great pedal! It works great alone, as an OD or distortion. It's not noisy, looks great, fits easily on my board etc, etc... I can't say anything bad about this thing! I just spent the last hour playing with it, and plan on getting back in a few minutes. If you think you'd like it, you probably will. I get tones from blues rock, classic rock to metal. Best $18 pedal I've ever seen! ... show more

  • Kmise Noise Gate Not Effective For High Gain
Color: Noise Gate
I purchased the Kmise Noise Gate pedal as an economical option to suppress the noise of the BOSS HM-2 style pedals. It is ineffective for such high gain pedals. It does have a small effect on a clean guitar signal going into a clean amp, and if you are using it for that purpose it may be for you. The majority of noise gate users look for something that can tame a high gain sound, and unfortunately this pedal is not it. The pedal does appear to be well built however and I would be willing to try the other pedals in the Kmise lineup. This one just does not do the trick for containing a high gain signal. ... show more

  • Gives a second channel to any guitar amp with a clean/aux input.
Color: ABY Pedal
Here is my setup. KMISE switch is set for A/B-Y. Y side gets signal from guitar. A side sends to AZOR portable amp front 1/4" input set for distortion. B side sends to SONICAKE US Classic (USC) headphone amp, then from USC headphone 1/8" jack to the AZOR rear 1/8" aux input. The US Classic gives the AZOR clean input a boost matching the AZOR front path loudness when AZOR front distortion on. In this setup the KMISE "red" path is a lead/heavy channel, and B "blue" path path is a "clean" channel. To make the B path a "blues" path, set USC volume and gain wide open and tone all the way down. This gives the B path touch sensitive distortion/compression/sustain. The KMISE switches without power, so the rig works anywhere. ... show more
