  • The Toggle switch allows for a choice between 3 different settings for your pedal. Hi-Boost, having a bit less body and more treble, Boost-Off, having a more mid-range meaty tone, and Lo-Boost, giving a very full mid and deep tone. All 3 choices are great for different genres and effects for any player.
  • The Volume knob simply allows for the output from this pedal to be easily changed by the user.
  • The Distortion knob allows for change in the overall fullness or tone of the effects over-driven sound. Turning the knob clockwise will make a louder, more saturated and full tone while turning the knob counter-clockwise will make for a great mild distortion effect.
  • The Tone Knob changes the brightness of the pedal. Adding more tone by turning clockwise will bring out more clarity and high-end gain to your signal, while turning it counterclockwise will let those bass-y and mid range sounds shine through.

Im just gonna be blunt, this pedal sucks. Its supposed to be a clone of the EHX Metal Muff micro or whatever metal muff variant has the terrible hi/lo switch, well this turd tries to emulate that, and yikes. Any other metal pedal would be 1000 times better than this. I recommend mooer rage machine, boss metalcore, behringer ultra metal, joyo uzi, even horse audio has a great high gain pedal that would mop the floor with this pedal for around the same price point as well. In short, if you want to flush your hard earned money down the toilet, this pedals the one for you. If you want a good metal tone from a pedal??, try starting with any of the ones i mentioned in this review, i own all the mentioned pedals and trust me, you will not be disapointed with any of the pedals i mentioned, only the pedal i am supposed to be reviewing will leave you sad and very dissapointed.
