The media could not be loaded. This drum set is good, almost great. I really like the seven different sound sets, how compact it is, and the overall features. You can play along with complete demos, play with tracks that do not have the drum line, and record yourself rocking. The pedals are just okay and do not always sound.     • Great electric drum set for kids
This is actually a present for my daughter for Christmas, but I wanted to do my due diligence and test the product for a prompt review. The product comes folded up in a very small form factor, which is indicative of its ease of storage. It does require batteries to operate of course, which are not included. Upon putting the batteries in you are all set to begin playing, as it required no set up. I am sure that anyone with children with a love for music will benefit from this, or rather your children will. It does get pretty loud, which is a double edged sword, but it will definitely keep them occupied and happy. It appears to be good quality, so I expect it to hold up for quite awhile. ... show more

    • Great Gift for a Percussion-Driven Kid
Got this for our little percussionist. She’s the kind of person who is constantly making music on everything she sees- doesn’t matter what it is, she’s going to find a way to drum on it. While we do want to ultimately get her a drum kit, it’s a bit early to commit on that level in case her interests change, and I liked the fact that this is so compact and the volume can be turned down. I wanted her to be able to have a starting point. The colors were fine for me- my daughter loves a lot of color- but it would be easy to mistake this set for something meant for a younger kid. I think it’s just fine for youth to tween and early teens, as far as functionality goes. This thing is LOUD! You do have the option to turn down the volume, which is great, and it seems very capable for what it is.     • Super fun but flimsy pedals
These are very fun and have an amazing sound. The speakers built into the power box are good quality and produce a nice clear sound when the drums and cymbals are played. The pedals that come with it are a bit flimsy and unfortunately one broke after a few weeks use and had to be glued back together. The drum set it self is not flimsy and is really well designed. I use the drum set in a music corner with the kids so did not use the Midi feature however you can also attach just about any electronic device (Phone, Tablet, computer by Midi) and add additional features.     • Very good for the price
This pad needs to be set flat on a surface to work best. My nephew is 5 and pretty much bangs on it trying to make music. It is quite loud, so we got him headphones that you can plug into. He spends a good amount of time on it. He might pick up on following along the preset songs. He has a lot of fun. It comes ready with wooden sticks and foot pedals for him to really feel the experience. It is a good set for a music inclined child, or a child that is looking to get into drumming. The media could not be loaded. Im still a beginner drummer and I have an electronic drum set, but I wanted something I can have my son learn on and this was perfect. The sound is great, the paddles are not the best but it does the job. There are several settings and you can record what you create. Definitely worth the buy. ... show more
