    • Oxygen absorbers
I dehydrate vegetables and I use these to keep the oxygen out when I package the dehydrated vegetables. Never had an issue with this product. Will be buying again soon

These are pretty small bags of silica gel that are really reactive. I put them near a batch of flowers I was working on and some activated by accident. I use packets on the top of my regular loose gel and left these out too long near them. That was on me. However, if you are looking for long term absorbent you’ll need a larger bag. Word to the wise. Like the size of the crystal itself. Easy to reactivate as well. I put low absorbency because the small packets, by nature, are low absorbency. For the size and price, does the job. I got these for shoe storage but have been using them for much more than that (in storage drawers, bags, wrapped in napkins and put in opened bags of chips to keep them crunchy etc.). They were not in plastic packets as pictured but a non-woven breathable type of material. Some reviewers complained about the plastic so the manufacturers may have decided to change the packaging but I bought them expecting the plastic. The seller says it doesn't affect the product and some reviewers concurred. Anyway I gave some to my mom who exclaimed that she didn't know you could buy these. Me either, until now.
