Battery life is crucial for me as a street artist, and this speaker well surpassed my expectations in that regard. I was able to go through three consecutive hours of voice and guitar tracks while the device was set to its maximum output level. During the afternoon concert, I did not see the battery indicator drop below half. After I had adjusted the wattage to a moderate level in preparation for an evening function, the battery indicator remained unchanged until the fourth hour had passed. Having that type of endurance meant that I never had to stop a performance in the middle of a song to recharge, which ensured that my audiences were interested from the beginning to the conclusion of my set.

The media could not be loaded. I recently picked up the LOTAWAY speaker because I needed something versatile for different events, sometimes background music for parties, sometimes amplifying speaking voices, sometimes even small musical performances. I have to say, I'm really happy with this purchase so far based on its features and how easy it is to use. Right off the box, without any particular adjustment, the sound is impressively clear. Music comes through with distinct elements, and when I've plugged in a microphone, voices are reproduced very well, which is essential for speeches or singing. It seems to have some capable internal processing working, as the overall sound feels balanced across the highs, mids, and lows, and nothing feels lacking for its size. One of the biggest wins for me is the battery. It packs a substantial 4400mAh battery, and that translates to real freedom. I can set this speaker up pretty much anywhere without scrambling for a power outlet, which has been fantastic for outdoor gatherings and venues with tricky layouts. It definitely relieves that anxiety about the battery dying mid-event. The battery is also removable, which could come handy when it’s time to replace it, instead of those other devices that you have to throw away when their internal battery is dead. Getting connected via Bluetooth 5.0 is a breeze. My tablet found it and paired up immediately without any fuss (see video). I also appreciate the TWS feature. While I only have one unit right now, knowing I can easily link up a second one wirelessly for true stereo sound or just broader coverage is a huge plus for future expansion. Handling this speaker is surprisingly easy. It's designed to be portable, and the handle feels comfortable and secure in my hand. What I particularly love is the flexibility in how you can position it. I've already used it standing straight up, tilted back slightly on the floor for better projection upwards, and even placed it like a wedge monitor. Knowing I can also mount it on a standard 35mm speaker pole covers just about any setup scenario I can think of. Finally, it just looks professional. It's got a clean design, and little details like the soft green fluorescent rubber on the handle (which adds a nice grip as well) and the modern blue indicator lights give it a stylish edge. It doesn't look out of place at any event. Overall, I will say that the Y1X-120 feels like a really well-rounded portable PA. It delivers on sound clarity, battery freedom, easy connectivity, and fantastic setup versatility. For DJs, musicians, presenters, or just anyone needing reliable, powerful sound on the go, this speaker seems like a solid choice based on my experience with its features.

I just charged the battery that was already integrated into the device, synced my phone with it via Bluetooth, and tuned the volume dial. I was able to go across the park with my guitar in my hand without disrupting the track that I was playing behind me since the wifi connection remained rock-solid even when I walked twenty feet away from it. Whenever I find myself in a situation where I want a wired microphone or instrument input, the system's user-friendly combination jacks enable me to plug in and begin playing without the need for any adapters or mixers. The integrated subwoofer of this system struck me with its powerful, controlled bass that never muddles the mix. This is in contrast to the majority of portable speakers, which struggle to offer genuine low end. In the course of an outdoor jam session, the kick drum and bass lines were heard with true warmth and strength, providing the music with an energetic base that was able to reach even the rear row of listeners. At the same time, vocals and guitar solos were able to be heard clearly because of the balanced midrange. This made it possible for my singing and acoustic playing to have the clarity that they deserved.

At first I purchased this to use as a PA system for where I work at. Not only does it work great for that but when it comes to the sound, this thing can get really loud. However, the one thing we noticed, even with the sound turned up, nothing sounds muffled. Nothing but clear sound quality out of these speakers. Another thing I appreciate about this speaker is that there is a handle on top that really makes it easy to carry thing thing around, it does have some weight to it. The look of it makes you think that its going to have a decent sound, but looks are very deceiving with this speaker. Packs a real power punch for the size of this thing. We've even used this speaker with our projector, have used this for parties and even for karaoke.

not loud enough. Returned to get a different brand. For the price and specs, you can get something louder such as the Mackie Thump. NEVER BUY THIS UNIT YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED
