Description

Losi introduced its first RC micro vehicle nearly two decades ago. It was easy on the wallet and small enough to carry in a coat pocket. The low cost and convenience — combined with exciting, hobby-quality performance — took the RC industry by storm. Many hobbyists have fond memories of the Losi micros. They want them back again. You asked and Losi answers with the 1/24 scale, ready-to-run Micro-B 2WD buggy. It's the simplest way yet to share your passion for fast, fun RC racing with friends and family. Only slightly larger than the original Losi micro, the Micro-B 2WD buggy is even faster and more capable. And you can still run it almost anywhere. The typical living room makes a suitable spot for spur-of-the-moment racing. Low-shag carpeting provides excellent traction for carefree indoor micro competition. You can also race the Micro-B outdoors on driveways and other smooth concrete surfaces. With its TLR-inspired design, Losi takes the Micro-B to the next level of micro performance. It doesn't just look like the buggy that won the 2023 IFMAR World Championships. It has the goods to back it up. Adjustable and tunable oil-filled shocks optimize handling and soak up bumps and jumps. The black-anodized aluminum chassis is strong, rigid, and an industry first. The batteries included with most ready-to-run vehicles offer about eight minutes of uninterrupted run time per charge. Losi more than doubles your fun with the Micro-B. Its 350mAh LiPo battery stretches run times to nearly 20 minutes. Then, when it's time for a recharge, the easy-to-use USB-C charger gets it done in less than an hour, compared to the 2-5 hours most standard RTR chargers require. Longer run times are great. Higher speeds are even better, and the 13+ mph top speed capability of the Losi Micro-B might seem absolutely insane for a buggy of this size. If you're not sure you're ready to handle it, however, think again. The included Spektrum SLT2 transmitter has a switch to cap the speed at 50% or 75% of the maximum until you're ready to unleash it all. This throttle limiting feature is perfect for young or inexperienced drivers. The Losi Micro-B lets everyone enjoy the fun and challenges of RC racing without requiring lots of time, money, and space. In fact, at this price, you can own more than one — and be ready to go racing with your friends and family anytime and anywhere! THIS IS WHERE THE FUN STARTS It's not easy to be a World Champion RC racer. Those top-level drivers earn their trophies through hard work, endless practice, and cars loaded with well-chosen, high-dollar upgrades. But if you want to have fun racing RC cars, that's pretty simple. All you need is a fast, sturdy, easy-to-run vehicle and a place to race it with your friends. All you need is the Losi Micro-B 2WD buggy. The Micro-B won't cost you a lot of money. It's ready-to-run, so you won't have to search for the right accessories. You don't need a large or special track. Just open the box, charge the battery, and start racing almost anywhere — even in your living room. Complete RC racing excitement is captured here in micro size. World Champion racing buggy looks. Fast, 13+ mph top speeds. Tough construction that survives bumps and jumps. Adjustment and tuning capabilities that turn your growing experience into stronger performance. Best of all, you don't have to wait. Start racing now with the Losi Micro-B. Fully assembled and ready-to-run In The Box Everything you need to race is included in the box along with your fully assembled and finished Micro-B buggy. No additional items are required. Just read the manual as you charge the battery and you'll be ready to compete in less than an hour. Losi 1/24 Micro-B 2WD Buggy RTR Features Losi has taken micros to the next level with the Micro-B. It not only looks like buggy that won the 2023 IFMAR World Championships, but includes oil-filled shocks for optimal handling and jumping during racing. The shocks can be tuned with optional shock fluid and springs and adjusted with the included pre-load clips. The Micro-B buggy's next-level aluminum chassis is an RC industry first for micro vehicles. Inspired by the championship-winning TLR racing buggy, the Micro-B chassis includes front caster kick and side bends to create a strong and rigid foundation. For a vehicle of its size, the Micro-B's 13+ mph top speed is outrageous! A throttle limiting switch on the back of the SLT2 transmitter lets you put the buggy in “rookie mode,” limiting speeds to 50% or 75% of its full potential — perfect for learning RC control skills gradually and safely. It's great for sharing the fun with younger, less experienced drivers, knowing they'll be able to stay in The included 7.4V 810mAh 2S Smart G2 50C LiPo battery not only offers high capacity for long run times, but also stores its charging parameters on an integrated microchip. That data uploads to the included Smart charger automatically when the battery is connected, and safe, accurate charging begins immediately. When not in use, Smart batteries also discharge themselves to a safe storage voltage. The included electronics deliver fully proportional control, which means that your slightest input on the transmitter is immediately reflected in your Micro-B buggy's speed and steering. That responsiveness keeps you 100% in control on the race track. Pro-Line Racing bodies are found on many larger RC buggies that compete and win around the world. You can be proud that your Micro-B is also topped off with a factory-finished Pro-Line body, even though you're racing with friends indoors or outdoors at home! The included Pro-Line Racing body, wheels and tires are exact same design found on racetracks around the world — another example of what makes the Losi Micro-B one of the best micro RC buggies available! Competing, customizing, upgrading — you can do it all, RC style, with the Losi Micro-B. A full line of option parts is available for making this racing buggy all your own.

  • Fun!
Awesome little RC buggy. Perfect fix for driving around the house, garage, or driveway. Buy one or even a couple for the whole family and have fun day of racing at home. Not much to complain. Fast enough for its size. Durable enough and spare parts are cheap. Good value for a hobby grade RC car! Oh yeah I would recommend getting a better charger. The included USB charger is known to fail causing the battery to go bad by over charging or not charging properly causing one of the cells to get too low. ... show more

  • Awesome micro RC buggy
This is an awesome hobby grade RC in a micro size , pretty fast for stock , me and my friends have these and race them on a carpet track , handles great and jumps great , for $130 you won't find a better deal unless you get it on sale , I have the micro b and t , and you can upgrade the crap out of these , carbon fiber and aluminum everything... You can upgrade to brushless , WARNING ⚠️ absolutely 💯 do not use the included charger for the battery it will destroy it and ruin the balancing part of it , you definitely need to upgrade to a lipo balance charger, you have been warned. ... show more

  • Great car. Put glob of hot glue to underside of body over power button, way better!
With oil shocks, tight turn radius, good differntial and decent power this feels like a hobby grade 1/24 scale race buggy. Does not feel like a toy. One thing I did that really made a huge difference was put a glob of hot glue inside the body over where the power button is so now you can just squeeze the car to turn it off and on...removing the body everytime was driving me nuts. But yeah great little car. I bought this and the Serpent 1/24 scale and this is way better, Serpent feels like a toy. Although in its defense the Losi car is about three times more expensive. I was hoping I could let my friends use the Serpent and still have some fun races but its not a fare race. ... show more

  • A Great Introduction To the RC Hobby
So you're looking at getting your (or maybe a child's) first hobby grade RC car? Long story short, this is a great introduction. Now, when I say "hobby grade", that doesn't mean that the quality of this vehicle is the best that there will be, it simply means that replacement/upgrade parts are relatively easy to access. Obviously, the quality will be better than any toy grade RC vehicle you will find at a big box retailer The vehicle itself has many critical components made out of what seems to be a decent quality ABS plastic, but just about every single one of those parts can be replaced with aluminum or carbon fiber parts, many of which can be found right here on Amazon. I love that this kit is sold as a ready-to-run out of the box kit, but hate how Losi executed it. The included Spectrum SLT2 Transmitter (radio controller) is fine. It' lightweight, runs off of 4 AA batteries (also included) and includes all the trim setting you need. My biggest problem is the included battery and charger. The charger is one IQ point above a dummy charger. It simply charges the battery and stops once it is "fully charged". The charger does not balance the 2 cells in the battery, nor can it safely discharge the battery for storage. HUGE no-no's in the lipo battery world. I just personally think that was very irresponsible on Losi's part. I would rather the kit be just a few dollars more to include a smart balance charger. The included charger actually damaged one of the cells in my battery the very first time I used it. So, I would Highly recommend ordering a smart charger at the same time of purchase, and throw the included one away. Other than that the spectrum batteries are fine. Unfortunately, your replacement options for this size and connector type are fairly limited. As far as cons go, that's about it. The car handles really well, gets about 15-20 minutes of runtime, and is surprisingly fast for its size. It's crazy to me how Losi made this car feel and look like a full size 1/8th or 1/10th scale car that fits in the palm of your hand. ... show more

  • Losi Micro-B RTR. Everything you need for high speed basement fun!
I love this little buggy! I’ve been tearing around my basement for the last 20 minutes, and the battery still has some juice left. Losi has been a mainstay in RC racing for years, and they’ve packed that expertise into this small-scale buggy that’s perfect for indoor fun. The package includes everything needed to get started—just charge the battery with the included cable and a standard phone charger, and you’re off. The acceleration is snappy, braking is responsive, and the speed is just right for making an exciting indoor course. The suspension is impressive for such a small RC, handling bumps and turns smoothly. Honestly, I don’t see any need to upgrade unless I start getting competitive. Now I just need to build a proper track to run this on. So far, I’ve managed to keep it hidden from my 11-year-old, but I have a feeling I’ll be buying another one for their 12th birthday! ... show more

  • Great Deal and Performance
I got tired of buying parts every time I flew an rc heli. Looking for something that I could maybe use and not break anything expensive in every five minute flight. I ran this for 25 minutes (can’t get up to full speed in the house yet and even my backyard is narrow, so I probably got some extra time), and didn’t break anything. Nothing on the car and nothing in the house - and I ran into a lot of stuff. Shocking, I tell ya! It was an absolute blast. Knew I was keeping it, so I took it out to the pavers and gravel of the back yard. It handled everything including the jumps, indoors and out, and the carpet of all types. Did get bogged down occasionally in the deep pile if I tried to switch from forward to reverse in the deep pile. But nothing major. Oh, there is a delay in switching from forward to reverse and back. This is to keep from stripping the gearing to save twists for beginners like me. You get used to it. And if you accelerate and spin to turn, you don’t need to back up nearly as much. More fun anyway. Also, the cheap rc cars I drove as a kid absolutely never landed a jump on their wheels, I’m assuming due to center of gravity and general cheapness issues. This landed well the majority of the time. Maybe 90%. When it didn’t, I think it was usually my fault as the driver. A lotta fun for the dollar, and the battery lasted a long time. No adjustments needed when it arrived. Didn’t need to tighten anything. Just charge the car’s battery, load the provided AAA batteries into the remote, and launch. The open axles love cat hair and dust bunnies though FYI. So I did need to use some tweezers afterwards to pull them out of the wheels and cv joints. Still worth it. Both the car and the cat. Cheers. ... show more

  • Very fun, but very fragile.
Once you wreck it, it's totaled. At 75% throttle I hit a ladder just right, shattered a front spindle. Had to pay 25 DOLLARS, a quarter the cost of the whole thing, just to get replacements because they don't sell the plastic parts, only the aluminum upgrade parts. I installed them and my wheel is out of alignment and so the thing drives wonky. I'd have to upgrade the whole front of the car to fix it which would be hundreds, so yeah the thing is totaled. Search around in youtube comments, everyone totals theirs. You want to drive this in your home, but if there's anything in your home then it's done for. UPDATE: Even more fun. The charger that came with it stopped functioning after two charges. Whenever plugged in it just goes straight to a green light and the battery won't charge. I went to unplug the red battery plug and the wiring fell out of the thing. What a sad product. I'm done with Losi. ... show more

So much fun. Perfect for racing around in the house. The batteries do not hold a charge well, and the ESC has issues with water but other than that an awesome little 2wd buggy
