THIS is an amended review. I originally bought this watch as a gift but it didn't work out. I have now my own LOREO and am giving the watch an in depth look. I found that the watch was well priced at Amazon vs. a FB ad that kept popping up in my newsfeed. The watch came and was nicely packaged from the factory. I found the packaging to be above average that set a nice first impression. The watch itself was also shrink wrapped to avoid scratching in shipment. With the first watch received the instructions were in, I believe, Chinese. The vendor now includes an English instruction sheet that fills the gap. It was nice to find out that watch has a screw down crown that, once unscrewed has three positions. The first position allows manual "winding" which is a very nice feature, especially if you don't wear the watch on a daily basis. It was a little difficult screwing the crown back in, but I expect this to get easier with practice and use. Overall, the watch has a nice heavy feel to it giving a quality feel. The band and case are well assembled with no sharp edges. As a result the watch is a pleasure to wear. Another nice feature is the inclusion of a tool to assist in adjusting the band. It's still easier to go to a watch shop to get the band adjusted, but I was able to handle this myself. The watch has glow in the dark hour points and hands, though these are not overly bright. Nevertheless th glow points did maintain their illumination throughout the night. I will monitor the accuracy of the watch but so far it is keeping excellent time. In summary, this is a nice automatic watch at a good price point. It has a great look and feels great to wear. I'm glad I gave this watch a second look. ... show more

If you’d told me this watch cost $500+ dollars, I’d have believed you. The finish is gorgeous - the rotation of the bezel is satisfying and smooth - the stainless steel is soft and well polished - and so far, it’s been wildly accurate. This watch 100% holds up to my more expensive time pieces. I’ve enjoyed wearing it WAY more than I initially thought I would. I’m stoked to have discovered this brand & will definitely be buying more from them. ... show more

The watch quit working after six months. Nothing in the presentation box, all written in Chinese, China being the country of manufacture, gave me a clue as to where it might be returned for repair or replacement. Purchase was January, 2020, and it failed in July, 2020. I buy a lot of watches, mostly high end, but I thought I would try a Loreo just for fun. Stupid me! Even dumber, I thought I'd try an identical one to see if I had. any better luck. It is a very attractive watch, so we will now the second one works out. ... show more

So obviously this watch is not a Rolex, it's a relatively inexpensive homage. That said, the crystal is sapphire (at least according to my diamond tester) though the rear display back is not. The bezel is either steel or aluminum. It's an automatic watch, an ST16 Seagull movement I think. The crown action is a little rough but it works -- you can pull it out and quick set the date and it does hack, though it's kind of sloppy (you have to jiggle the crown a little when pulling out to get it to hack). The brushwork and polishing seems OK, the movement is pretty attractive to look at, and the clasp has a button release and a fold over keeper so it's not likely to come off. It uses pins to hold the links together which requires the right tools to resize and some patience (buy the tools or get a watchmaker to do it for you or maybe watch an instructional video). It's easy to do it wrong and have the watch fall off your wrist (not the fault of the bracelet) so make sure you countersink the pin after putting it back in. And putting it back in backwards would be bad, so be careful. The lume is poor -- the bezel isn't lumed and the indices will sorta last all night but really dimly, but the hands will be invisible long before that due to being relatively thin and having less lume. Don't count on the lume for anything much. It's an attractive and comfortable watch to wear though I can't comment on the longevity. Make sure you handwind it when you get it to get it going initially. Accuracy is very bad unwound. Once you start wearing it you should be OK. Once wound, it behaves well on the timegrapher showing the various positions from about +8s/d to +23s/d (every watch will be different). On my wrist on the first day, it's running about +15s/d which is pretty good for the movement I think. If you're wondering if you like dive watches, might be a cheap way to find out. Buying from Amazon means you can return it if it's a bad one and you'll get it MUCH MUCH faster (travel from China is slow and my last purchase had to go back and it's been in Chinese customs for 6 weeks now without moving, probably lost for good). Much better to buy it from Amazon at a higher price and be able to return it easily and get another one. So it's quite a good value for money and quite a competent watch. ... show more
