We were going to try a Blanco sink because we love them so much but were advised not to as they, apparently, do not hold up in the sun very well.     • Funky strainer

I'm hoping for a good resolution to my problem. Installed this sink in our laundry room earlier this year. We noticed a leak under the sink earlier this week. The locknut and gaskets for the strainer were dangling loose on the trap. I removed the strainer and it's supposed to have three tiny "ears" for the locknut to tighten up against the sink. Two of them were missing. You can see where one of them was welded on (not very well) but the third had minimal evidence of a weld. Unfortunately, their customer service phone number is out of order and so I checked their street address: it's a house in Denver. I've sent an email asking for a replacement part so we'll see... Update 8/15/23 All's well. Replacement strainer basket was received and installed. It's a threaded unit which is what was needed. Overall quality, especially for the price, is very good, as was the responsiveness of Lordear. ... show more

    • Food will get stuck in corners because there is no slope to the drain.

Beautiful sink but please be prepared to constantly wash down the food because there is absolutely no slope to this sink to the drain. Food will end up in the corners and your sink will look like trash if you don’t always always always wash the sides and corners down.

This sink is gorgeous when installed, and the stainless drain mat adds to the aesthetic. I have received compliments on both and my kitchen isn't complete yet. (Disregard all the kitchen items piled to the sky in the background lol) It's very deep and has wipes up easily. It has the sound dampening pads on it, and they make running the water nice and quiet. The sink comes with the drain assembly, but it can't be used to connect the garbage disposal. Remember to purchase one if you are going to re-connect a disposal from your old sink. I am not handy and didn't realize this, so I was sad when I had to wait an extra day for the sink installation. Well worth waiting for. ... show more
